Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Management Room was not clean upon arrival. It was a complete mess with empty cigarette containers, soda bottles, dirty linens, and other trash on the floor. I called the front desk and we (family of 4) were asked to wait in the hallway with luggage in hand while they clean the room! After waiting for 10 minutes, I realized this process is going to take a while to properly clean this room. So we head down stairs to the lobby with our luggage. After talking with the operating manager, Frank, he offered only a $15 discount, which does not rectify the situation. I asked for a free stay on a future date since they were unwilling/unable to offer us another room which was clean. He would not give me a free night's stay. But instead, he offered to give 5000 rewards points for my IHG Rewards, which never showed up on my account after 5+ days. The entire staff there that evening was very unprofessional and very disorganized. So it's no surprise that Frank did not add those points to my account. The was even a king sized mattress just sitting in the 1st floor hallway near the elevators, for who knows what reason, making it difficult to walk around. That is totally unacceptable. Talk about a fire hazard! And why was the mattress in the hallway in the first place? One can imagine! March 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay with great service and meeting space I enjoyed my stay and inaction at this hotel for a number of reasons. The sales staff where able to accommodate need to meet with them and see the meeting space in short notice. I was given plenty of details about having an event here and the local area as well. The room was clean, quite, professional looking as well as the dining area. The staff really shined with quick check-in/out, food was good and fast. The location was amazing and works for any traveler not familiar with the area. Plan to you this hotel for upcoming events and/or when in town. March 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very quiet/ comfortable rooms. I loved staying at the Richmond South-Bells Road hotel b/c of the QUIET rooms! Even though located near I95, you can NOT hear the noise from the traffic!! The STAFF was EXCELLENT!! Always willing to help us in every way! They stopped what they were doing with a friendly smile. Served us hot tea during a cold afternoon/ gave detailed directions and recommendations! Could not be more pleased!! Thank you!!!! March 3, 2015
