My son and his new bride were there on their wedding night; needed a little more time to check out. was told that they can't stay past check out time. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superior comfort. Check-in was fast and full of smiles. The downstairs area was very warm and decked out nicely. After doing a very thorough inspection of the room I was assigned, I found it to be very clean, welcoming, and spacious. I did not realize I had such sensitive skin until I went to relax in the queen sized bed and I started to have an allergic reaction to something. My skin started turning red, my eyes were starting to swell, and I started itching. I immediately thought, "oh no, bed bugs!!" I checked the mattress and linen but found no evidence of bed bugs. As I got dressed to go down to the front desk, I noticed that my skin irritations started to digress. I made my way down to the front desk and told the young man my issues and he immediately called a supervisor. I was greeted in the lobby by the supervisor and we discussed the possible irritants, then he told me he would get back to me as soon as he had a resolution. I went back to my room and waited patiently. About 10 minutes went by when I heard a knock at my door. It was the supervisor and another young man with brand new linen and towels! They came in, changed all of my linen and was very polite and very friendly. The supervisor even offered to go to the local CVS to get me some Benadryl if I needed it. They gathered up all of the old linens, wished me a pleasant nights sleep and exited. I was very thankful and very tired so I jumped into the bed, and waited for a reaction....I fell asleep almost immediately sleeping like a baby. No more issues!! I wish I could have stayed longer!! That bed was so comfortable and I loved the pillows even more! Thanks to everyone who made my stay comfortable and pleasant. D. Allen November 18, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Handicapped equipped Bathroom was indeed terrible for a person with one leg. The toilet area had no bars for support. The toilet was not hospital height. The roll in shower was so small it was impossible not to get water all over the main floor. The cleaning staff did not leave clean glasses each day. The coffee pot was broken and when reported still didn't get fixed. November 15, 2014

The first time, I left my IPAD at the hotel. The general manager, Terry went out of his way to ensure that it was sent back to me. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The hotel is also very convenient to everything. I plan to stay at this hotel whenever I'm in Richmond. November 10, 2014
