I spent several weeks at this hotel on business. The front desk staff were friendly and eager to help in any way. The dining room staff were very attentive, and even served special menu items upon request. Our dinner on the last night of our stay was particularly fantastic, exceeding my expectations.

On a business trip, first time in the KSA and found the experience to be overwhelmingly warm and friendly. The hotel staff was very attentive, especially Youssef, the restaurants maître de, he made us feel very welcomed, knew our names and our individual taste in beverages. The hotel is conveniently located by the National Library Park and walking distance to the al Faisalya tower and shopping mall, a spectacular building! The rooms were a very nice size, maintained daily with free coffee and water (very important to stay hydrated while in the KSA). The dining room was available throughout the day and provided an excellent assortment of local dishes, fish theme night was phenomenal (fresh shrimp, lobster, and ocean bass, you select the item and they prepare it to your specification...ummm good). They have a well equipped workout area and a pool you will enjoy.
Room Tip: Rooms facing east are quieter...negotiate a exec suite on the concierge level, first floor!

I was not recognized as an IHG platinum member. I was given a very far room from elevator . Air condition voice was very high and so was the noises of cleaning personnel chatting each morning. Management and reservations staff are very rude and uncooperative. Do not stay at this hotel. Couple of meters beside it you will find a much better Holiday Inn with much better service and treatment.
