I was delighted to return to the Holiday Inn Meydan, where I was warmly welcomed and recognised by the staff, all of whom, particularly the reception staff, worked extremely hard to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks to all. I still think the experience could be enhanced considerably with the addition of a Club Lounge..

This Hotel is perfect in every thing you can imagine. The moment you meet the Front Desk (Mr. Said) with his nice smile and professional attitude you feel like you are at your home. to the Coffee Man from Yemen in the reception (I don't remember his name) with his warm welcome and smile to the Laundry man (Sorry I don't remember his name), to Omar of the Restaurant, the Sales Team (Mohammed& Khaldoun). On Top the Special Thanks goes to the Guest Relation Manager (Mr. Turkey) the moment you speak to him you feel that you know him for so long and you feel safe and whatever concerns you might have it will suddenly disappear!. Great Team Work. Thanks all i enjoyed the stay.

The bathroom walls are glass, if you have guest at your room then its embarassing if either of you needs to ho to the toilet. Also, the reservation staff is careless, and this really the bad thing about this hotel. They add my rewards number but with incorrect personnel details and when I ask them to correct it they ignored untill I check the info directly from IHG and send a mail again to tell exactly what is wrong and what they should do to correct it. That's apprent show the incompetent staff they have who dont care about guests.

The hotel is well located, and looks nice.
As a platinum member, I am receiving very good service from the staff especially from Yasser.
I still do have 2 comments that hopefully the hotel will be able to address in the future:
1) The Gym is too small and has very little equipment especially when compared to the Holiday Inn Olaya. A lot of guests if not most are consultants and we do really value having good Gym.
2) There is no lounge for the platinum members, which is the first time I notice at Holiday INN hotels. I thought that there are minimum requirements to open Holiday Inn hotel which includes a business lounge
