Food quality in terms of taste is still compromising and having a Pakistani/Indian chef for 24 hours will be really awesome. I smell and taste south-east asian taste in almost everything. Also the croissants (breakfast core) are very different. 2. I would like to appreciate Mr. Sohaib who has been really helpful in many ways all through the course of my recent stays in last 2 to 3 months .. 3. I am (along with many other people from our company with samre request) staying here for very long duration and it will continue. I requested to get some Pakistani news and sports channels (Geo & PTV Sports) earlier. I would really like to re-iterate my earlier request. November 14, 2014

I've been fortunate enough to stay at a few hotels in my time, and to this effect would like to comment that my stay at the Holiday Inn Meydan has been pleasurable. The staff here are very courteous and attentive to their guests, with a welcoming smile to greet you at all times. I would like to make a special mention that Sohaib has been of great assistance during my long stay, accommodating any request I've put forward to the best of his abilities. Overall a very positive experience and wouldn't hesitate recommending the hotel to others. November 11, 2014

The reception desk is manned by pleasant staff, on both the occasions I was serviced by Shoaib who was pleasant to deal with so the check-in after a long flight was stress free. November 8, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible incompetent staff I am an IHG Gold member. On my second day while I came back from breakfast to my room and go out of the elevator, 2 men in casual clothes (no uniform or badges) spoke to me in EXTREMELY rude tone, "what are you doing here?" I was shocked for seconds even to answer. I have stayed in many hotels and travelled all over the world and never ever have I been spoken to in a such a tone or manner, specially that I was obviously dressed in business formal attire and those speaking to me were casual. I said who are you and I am a client here. He said there is nobody on this floor, I replied this is not my problem ask the manager who gave me the room here. He said even more rudely than before, I don't need to speak to the manager I am the owner! I am not sure what I was supposed to do, bow down or what. I said well my room is here. I went to down to the front desk and told the staff that I was spoken to by an unknown person in this extremely rude manner. They did NOTHING except an empty apology. I told them if he was really the owner then he shouldn't have spoken to a customer in this manner, they just shrugged. I told them what will they do make it up to me, again they shrugged and said if you were platinum we would have upgraded you. Well, if i was platinum you have upgraded anyways so they mean to say we can be rude to you in a way no hotel has ever been rude to me and yet we will do nothing about. I got a routine email survey from Holiday Inn and I wrote the events exactly as they happened. A few days later I got a phone call from a Mr. Turk who id'd himself as the hotel manager and same empty sorry. Sorry but after such an exceptionally unheard of rude behaviour such empty words don't cut it. Specially if the man was really the owner than the hotel and Holiday Inn should have gone out of their way to make up for it. Just an empty sorry is just empty words. IHG should really invest in who their franchisees are, as ulitmately rude unprofessional style will reflect poorly on the Holiday Inn and IHG brand. October 31, 2014
