Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Average experience for a Holiday Inn I've always liked this hotel's location, lobby, pool, and the fact they have a bar and nice breakfast buffet. Even though the buffet normally costs $10, I've always considered it worth it for the quality, quantity, and selection. I've probably stayed at this hotel ten times and this was the first time they had no breakfast buffet. The staff explained that when the hotel has few rooms booked, they don't find it cost effective to put out the buffet. I was disappointed, but since I'd prepaid for breakfast, they let me order from the menu and the food was OK. They offered only toast for bread but when I asked about biscuits (always on the buffet) the chef offered to make a biscuit for me. Well, I should have gone with the toast. The biscuit was obviously a reheated leftover. It was as hard as a rock. Everything else was OK except the shower head was not functioning properly. The valve that redirected the water from the tub spigot to the shower head didn't work well so little water came out of the shower head. December 22, 2014

The building has an indoor pool in the same area as the lobby and the restaurant which makes for a very unplesent smell and very humid. Not a good building design. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel for family We enjoyed the indoor pool and found it a very reasonable temperature (82). The spa was very large and we enjoyed that as well. I thought it was a good hotel for a family. Our room had a sofabed and plenty of space. We did not order room service but I was shocked by how low the prices were. If you prefer a quiet room I would ask for one with an outside view. Sign up for the IHG rewards program too, as you will get free internet, late checkout, etc. December 20, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Roomy and comfortable Good stay and good room service. The sign and entrance to the hotel off of Ordway Drive should be changed or lite up better. Lighting entrance to hotel is not adequate. Lobby nice and check in efficient. If you booked for a particular type of room and you made the reservation a good deal ahead of time, you should push for the type of room you booked on the internet.I requested a King for the ease of having more room for spreading my paper work out. However at check in I was told there were non available. I asked why was I asked online to make a selection and my reservation was make 3 months in advance. I wasn't angry for my expectations were not set in stone. However the reservation personnel did fine me a king room after I made the internet comment. It is a little scary that the side doors can be entered without the use of a room keys after dark.. December 2, 2014
