Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location and comfortable room. Enjoyed our stay, loved the pool and hot tub. Clean room, comfortable bed, great service. Would stay here again. June 2, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by unplanned stay We decided to call for a room at the last minute decision to stay at Roanoke since we still had 10 hours of driving left. I was shocked that they had a room available due to the fact it was Memorial Day weekend (Sunday night). As a Platinum Elite member, it's always nice to be recognized and acknowledge that membership. Unfortunately, none of the staff acknowledge that. They were not busy when we checked in or out. As a matter of fact, we were the only ones in the lobby. The room was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. However, it is very dated. There is also a lack of eatery near by unless you go back on the interstate. But if you have been driving 8 hours already that is the last thing you want to do. June 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just a few suggestions Everything was great during my stay there is only a few suggestions that I would make, 1. Have a plastic silverware set in the room. 2. Add some travel sizes of ketchup and mustard to the rooms condiments. The elevator could use some TLC. May 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Slept great Stayed overnight on a long drive. The hotel is a bit dated feeling, but the room was great: clean, modern, big screen TV, everything in good condition. We slept really well-- quiet room and comfortable bed. May 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Staff were great - excellent service overall, specifically at C/I and the service in the restaurant for dinner. Food was great for dinner - great quality and flavor. Only issue was that the snack machine was not working. May 28, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Insulted by Front Desk Employee Upon Check In While checking into a smoking room, I was told by the employee at the front desk that I smelled offensively like cigarettes. She advised me she could not wait on me and called another employee to check me into my smoking room. Later I was informed by another employee that the employee complaining about my cigarette odor was in fact a smoker as well. Needless to say, I was extremely insulted and bewildered. The Manager was made aware of the situation and took care of it professionally. I appreciated his prompt and courteous response to an unfortunate experience. May 28, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Old hotel, expensive stay for graduation The hotel probably had better rooms than the one we had, but we were staying here for graduation in Blacksburg. Expensive for the room we got. Bathroom was in need of repair and room was in need of overhaul. Slept pretty well there, shower had a lot of pressure. Staff had a grab and go breakfast for people staying over for graduation and were very welcoming of graduate families. May 27, 2015
