Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by air vent I was in a smoking room and there were no vents, not even in the bathroom to help remove smoke. I appreciate the fact the this hotel still welcomes smokers. I go to Roanoke once or twice a year and I will stay there as long as smokers are welcome. Sure hope vents are installed at least in the bathroom. Great hotel. May 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Feeling of HOME as Usual Again another successful trip to Roanoke VA and great hospitality and service from the folks at the Tanglewood Holiday Inn .. The staff was excellent and always accommodating . I would of like to see the room service to be open longer hours til 10 pm as I arrived later than expected and was extremely hungry. My Fault not theirs .. LOL However Art was quick to give me 3 Pizza places to choose from and it hit the spot with quick delivery. Thanks Again to ALL the Staff for Making my usual experience as close to being home as possible ... May 22, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Caution on your reservation Hi. Overall this is a great hotel. However, be cautious when you make a reservation. I had a reservation with a military rate. I traveled and arrived at 10:30 with a reservation. Once arrival my confirmation was cancelled. I begged for a room. The. The rates went up an additional $40. Tried to contact the hotel manager but no response. I was so angry and upset. After my expenses, hotel and gas I owed back to the government. May 14, 2015
