Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable room, good food and service. We have stayed several times at this hotel and found it a good place to relax and enjoy good food. Sadly the lovely swimming pool was not available due to maintenance works during our stay this time. April 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by nice staff Weekend away after family bereavement, hotel staff friendly, room clean and bed comfortable, Evening meal was not so good, have stayed at many holiday inns, but this one had a completely different menu, not a la carte as we have had in the past, more like your local pub 2 for a £10. WHAT A LET DOWN, the staff in the restaurant where great, over all stay was good just evening menu. April 15, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Claustrophobic Room Arrived for stay and was greeted by a very enthusiastic receptionist. The room was fine but we were not allowed to open the windows, even with the aircon running it was unbarable ! Otherwise a normal Holiday Inn. April 9, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Unavailability of services The absence of the pool area was disappointing over Easter week, and the overall experience was worsened by the rupture of the cold water tank on the first night, and further lapses by the maid service team in availability of basic room necessities gave the four day stay an uneasy feel, as we are regular visitors and IHG members April 6, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff, Clean When we got to the hotel we were greeted by a big pile of builders debris in the car park. On checking in we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff, who informed us that the Swimming Pool and Wet Area was closed for major works. This wasn't highlighted very well on the property web site. This was very disappointing as that is why we particularly booked this hotel. Monday morning, we awoke to find there wasn't any hot water in the Hotel for a wash or shower.Another reason for the break as , no hot water at home. The front desk were very apologetic. but there wasn't anything they could do. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, best toaster machine we have come across for a long time. Overall, The staff were very good, and the hotel was very clean and tidy. Shame about the pool April 2, 2015
