Enjoyed our stay. Hotel was pleasant and quite relaxing. However, a bit busy some evenings with nowhere left to sit in the bar/lounge area. Enjoyed breakfasts but was not overwhelmed with the one evening meal we had. Room was comfortable but we could have been left with more toilet rolls than we were. Also the mastic around the bath could have done with some mould spray! The chair in the room was not very comfortable, especially for my elderly mother. The TV could have had more channels, i.e. Freeview, rather than extra channels being ones you had to pay for. (Unless I read it all wrong)! But all in all it was quite a nice weekend stay.

Booked an Executive room, which just happened to be the furthest away from main hotel. There was a party going on - so pleased we couldnt hear the music.
The room itself had what you wanted but was 'tired'. The towels were not soft and fluffy, but bitty and hard. The sofa was looking old and the covers 'stretched' in places and baggy in other areas. However, the bed was very comfy and pillows soft. A good nights sleep had. Breakfast was adequate and filling. I asked for porridge and it was specially made for me. Again tasty and filling.
Probably been spoilt using other 'executive' rooms in other Holiday Inns. But the staff are very friendly and helpful. An asset to the hotel.
