Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very Disappointing Stay We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Rochester while visiting our daughter at Geneseo. The hotel itself was disappointing. We expected more from a Holiday Inn. Our room was located in an area that we specifically requested not to be. The mattresses were too soft as well as the pillows. We woke up with sore backs. There was a club within the hotel so the family atmosphere was definitely missing that evening. The parking lot was crowded with club goers. We will definitely NOT stay there again. We have stayed at motels that wee much nicer. The food for the breakfast was not worth the money. The staff however was very polite!!! September 30, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not to Holiday Inn Standards Despite discovering curly hairs in the sheets as well as soap in the shower from the previous guest(s), I tried to give this hotel the benefit of the doubt. There was at least one mouse scaring patrons at the bar on premises, which incidentally shares the kitchen with the breakfast area. Also, there was no elevator. A coworker's room had ceiling panels missing in their bathroom, exposing electrical wiring. This is by far the worst Holiday Inn I have ever been to. September 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mrs. This Holiday Inn needs a great deal of up grades. The sheer curtains in 507 are not only torn but also filthy. The top of the heater/air conditioner, is dirty. There are cobwebs in the corners of the window's, the windows are also filthy. September 29, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Experience I visit Rochester for a week every month for my job. I stayed at this hotel the last night of my week long stay because I had a very early flight out and wanted to return my rental car the night before. Upon arriving at the hotel there were a lot of people standing around outside the hotel I guess smoking and talking. Once inside there were several people waiting with one person at the front desk. Another lady finally came out and begin to help. I noticed this several times when passing the front desk there was always a line waiting to be helped including when I returned my rental car before leaving a long line and when I returned with the other passengers picked up at the airport there were even more people with only one person handling. The room I was in had little flying bugs that gathered at the crusted coffee maker which looked disgusting. I was on the first floor not near the entry way or elevator but could hear people in nearby rooms opening and closing doors loudly and loud conversations outside my room. At one point someone in a nearby room asked for security to come. I couldn't wait for that one night to be over with. September 29, 2015
