Upon arrival, at 5:35pm, with 2 small children and an arm loaf of baggage, I was assigned room 137. When I asked the front desk where my room was in relation to the pool, I was given a very vague answer of "near it, I guess". When we walked down to the room, I noticed a smell when I opened the door. As we walked into the room, I noticed there was used cups by the TV & tissues by the garbage can on the floor in the bathroom. Upon further investigating, I noticed there was urine in the toilet. I went back to the front desk where I spoke to someone else who "couldn't believe the room wasn't cleaned". I was assigned a new room, on the second floor. The room was clean but there was a strain on the curtains, the door looked like it was pried open at one point and the security bolt was only attached with one screw. When I showered I discovered the drain did not work. The restaurant was closed so my children & I had to eat in the pub. The service was terrible. It took over 5 mins to get us a table - there were only a few people in the pub. I decided to cut my 2 night visit short. I was disappointed, overall. I should have been offered at least a meal voucher for my troubles but was not. I would not recommend this hotel and I will have to think twice about staying at a Holiday Inn in the future.

I like the location to the Airport and I390. The front desk knows me by name and takes care of every need. Flo and her morning crew are very nice in the morning. When I do eat , the food is very good.
