Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Comfortable clean and well maintained The stay was perfect can not complain. Except checking in and parking was tricky. There is no signage to where to park or what door to go into to registar. You have to either park outfront illegally or park in the public ramp and haul your belongings through the skyway to get to the desk. The other problem was the hotel hostess for the wedding reception I attended.She was dressed very inappropriate in a short red lace dress and high heels. She also danced a slow dance with the DJ. She brought way to much attention to herself. December 17, 2014

The room wa too expensive for the value I recieved.Having to pay for parking was outragous. that one my greatest disapointments when you are a handicapped person who is using the Mayo facilities.I have stayed at this same location 2-3-occationstrying to evaluate the price/ value ratio. and right now you have slipped to the middle of the list' December 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant and Nice Walk to Mayo I chose this hotel for its walking proximity to the Mayo/Gonda buildings. It is a good walk through the skyways and then the subway direct to the Mayo/Gonda building and you can also reach the Charlton Building and I am sure many more by just paying attention to the map provided by the hotel. I requested a room away from the elevators and was given that choice. The hotel is quiet and we were able to rest comfortably. I was disappointed that there was not a free parking area however the cost of the room coupled with the parking was about what we would pay at any other hotel. The restaurant offers a nice menu with reasonable pricing. December 12, 2014

The skyway provides access to the Mayo Clinic with no traffic or climatic concerns during the two block walk. As with many downtown hotels, a parking fee is extra or may be added to your stay. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Improvements needed Upon my arrival, from the outside, street-level, the place looked as if it it might be closed. Finding my way to parking and a registration desk was cumbersome as directions (signage) was glaringly absent. Mayo maps do not show the location of Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express, whichever the real name is; some other hotel name shows, instead. This survey asks certain questions about purpose for being there and offers only two choices - business or liesure. "Niether" or "medical" would be the proper respons for all the Mayo patients; but, there are only the two limited options available. December 5, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location for clinic and excellent value. Access to sky-way was very good, giving access to all required areas and shopping/food. The Thyme offered well prepared food in a timely manner. Other places to eat accessible from the sky-way and subway offered good food and value. There were many high end offerings available. My wife left her scarf behind when we checked out in the morning and they had neatly folded it and had it waiting for us when we came back for it that evening. They have always treated us very well when we go there for conventions and assemblies of Jehovah's Witnesses. November 25, 2014
