We stayed at this hotel while traveling to South Carolina. We found the bed to be very comfortable and the room very clean and good sized.
We had a drink at the bar and chatted with a very nice bartender who gave us an alternate route suggestion for getting around Washington DC traffic. He also suggested an I phone App which I used for the duratioin of the trip.
We ended up eating at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and found the staff to be very efficient and very friendly.
We will be by this way next year and will stay here again.

I have stayed at Holiday Inns and Hotels all over the United States and this is the nicest Holiday Inn that I have ever stayed. Very convenient to the Interstate and other facilities in the Rocky Mount area. Also located in the most desirable area of Rocky Mount.
Cracker Barrel within walking distance and Outback can be driven to within 5 minutes.

My wife and I spend on an average of 14 nights a year in hotels on leisure time activities. This hotel is one of the most comfortable we have stayed at in the last several years.
The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable.
The restaurant and lounge were nice with good meals served by a good wait staff. I would recommend this to hotel to everyone.
This is really one of the better hotels we have been in for the last couple of years.

I usually don't stay in hotels that don't offer free breakfast (it's a savings kind of thing). The stay was good. The place was clean. However, the coffee in the lobby was cold. And, the Front Desk didn't explain the rate change in a professional manner. They used a tone as if I was trying to get something for nothing...or a little.
I will stay there again. I will just may more attention to my rate when making my reservations.

I needed a good nights sleep, but what I had was an excellent sleep! Cranked down the AC and slept SO good in the bedding you have. Thanks for a refreshing night!!

The staff was very helpful and friendly, even got hugs from the waitstaff when our group left. The whole hotel smelled and looked very clean. A personal con I can think of is that I personally thought the pillows were too soft. Although I didn't use it, I did see that some of the gym equipment was broken. Our group did have a slight issue with service at the bar one of the nights. The bartender was very inexperienced and slow. Other than that, it was a great stay and would be happy to go back.

When we arrived at this hotel we noticed that there was a party going on in the banquet room that is to the right of the entrance. We didn't think much of it until we got to our room and could hear bass coming through the floor! At first it wasn't too loud and soon it stopped altogether and we thought it was over. Apparently it was just the band/DJ taking a break. At around 9:00PM it started up again so loud we could actually hear the music through the floor clearly along with the words. Calls to front desk were useless as well as calls to management. When I finally got through to a manager, she said that she couldn't do anything because they had a contract to play music until 11:00 as loud as they wanted. Apparently whoever books the parties is only there during the day so this became the night managers problem. The music got increasingly louder until it finally stopped at 11:00PM. We thought we would finally get some sleep but then people from the party started filling into their rooms and carrying on which we could hear through the WALLS! TERRIBLE experience. Thinnest walls/floor of any hotel I've ever stayed at.

I stay at this hotel a couple times a week for business. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. They are willing to accommodate any request. It feels like a second home to me.

Very disappointed with my two-night stay this time in Rocky Mount. We were gone all day and when we returned very late in the day, the room was not cleaned, the bed not made and our towels from our morning showers were in the same position....damp and on the floor. On a positive note, after calling to complain, they did bring up to the room clean towels and a refurbished supply of soaps and shampoos.

The hotel itself was very clean and quiet. Definitely a good place to relax and sleep.
I was disappointed with some of the staff though. I am a priority club member, and was not welcomed as such. I also did not receive any type of perk for being a member upon check-in. Having once worked for IHG, I knew better. As I was leaving in the morning, I noticed the staff making up priority club gift bags, so I know this is something they do.
I know it's not much, but that is always something I look forward to, and part of why I choose to stay with IHG.
The bed was also a little lumpy, which made it difficult to get good sleep.

Room was excellent! Very clean and comfortable! Had breakfast in morning at restaurant. Service was very slow and pricey. Would definitely recommend staying here. Would not recommend eating in restaraunt.

It was a very busy weekend with the soccer teams in town and graduations, but the staff remained pleasant and on point. The hotel was very appealing and clean! Convenient to several restaurants nearby. I enjoyed the beds, shower and air conditioning. Front desk staff was great..particular the personality of William ('eyeglasses").. he was so funny and pleasant delivering great customer service.
I just wish Holiday Inn could bring those great southern buffets back. At the former location, Holiday Inn was known for its stellar buffets.
Will stay again when i visit. Keep up the good work.

my experiences with the property have been nothing less than suburb. i was completely blown away when the evening clerk remembered me from previous stays. On our way from church in Baltimore to SC, we make it a habit to stop in Rocky Mount at th Holiday Inn. We have never been or are never disappointed with the hositality rendered. Very nice hotel, modern furnishings in room. Kathy was very accommodating by placing us in and end room. I was concerned that the hotel allowed pets by to surprise hotel room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Will stay her again when in Rocky Mount area.

We usually get five rooms for weeks on end for Railroad Construction projects, but when we were told that we had to pay an additional $30. per night to qualify for "reward points" We have moved to a NON Holiday motel, were we get points for EVERY dollar we spend. WE stay in motels year round(five rooms every week)no longer at HOLIDAY INN.

When we arrived at your facility a king bed which we had ordered only a short time prior to arrival through the Priority Club, was not available. Your front desk, without hesitation, checked for an alternative and we were given a one bedroom suite which was awesome. Your facility is lovely and the bar and restaurant area is an added plus.
Would recommend, as i always do in the Guest Review, that I believe a welcome addition to every room would be a magnifying mirror fastened to the wall in the bathroom. Its a great option for us "seniors". Other than that, the room had everything. And love the bedding that the Holiday Inns are using and also love the brand of lotions offered in the guest size bottles.
We plan to continue utilizing the Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express properties.

Beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Didn't have time to use the pool, etc. as we were only there for the night, but we did enjoy our say so we stopped for the night on the way home too. Staff was excellent both stops.
