Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very comfortable hotel I stayed overnight for a business meeting the following day. I was very impressed with the condition and cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The queen size bed was very relaxing with a good choice of pillows. The shower was wonderful with lots of hot water. A quiet hotel with little or no noise, which is surprising especially with the hotel situated on a dual carraigeway. I would highly recommended this hotel for business or pleasure. April 30, 2015

Only small niggles but these 2 issues would have changed my overall review to all excellent. I have stayed on a few occasions now and the staff are amazing at any hour of the day.I will definately be returning as this hotel is in an excellent location. April 29, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good rooms, poor restaurant The hotel is reasonable and is certainly well matched with the quality level of other Holiday Inn hotels, The room was good and the staff - especially on the front desk - were lovely. However, the whole stay was spoiled by a very noisy and over-enthusiastic couple in the next room (not the hotel's fault, of course) and very poor food from the kitchen. Dinner: I ordered a cajun tuna steak, which was way over-cooked and was dry and hard. I didn't bother with dessert. Breakfast: Tasteless sausages, rubbery scrambled egg, and leathery bacon. I left most of it and ate fruit with yoghurt instead. The funny thing is, a colleague offered to meet me at McDonalds for 8am for breakfast and I declined in favour of a yummy hotel breakfast. I wish I'd have taken him up on his offer. It can't be good when a McDonald's breakfast seems preferable to a Holiday Inn breakfast. Come on guys. Sort it out. April 27, 2015
