Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and Nice We enjoyed our short stay and the bed was comfortable. The only negative was the phone didn't ring, so after ordering food, the hotel restraunt called us several times with no success. Once we called them back and got the food it was cold. Food was still good though and they gave us free drinks to make up for it. Great customer service and good Family atmosphere! January 5, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Austin area hotel My husband and I booked an accessible room and came to the area for a medical appointment. Upon arrival I was informed that the room we had booked more than a week in advance, was still occupied by another guest. I explained to the front desk associate (her name started with a J) we had specific needs for a king bed and roll in shower and she ended up giving us two rooms! One with the roll in that had queen beds and the other room with a king bed so we could sleep comfortably. Thanks to her graciousness and understanding we were able to get a good night sleep and my husband was able to shower SAFELY AND INDEPENDENTLY!!!!!! Since it was not our fault that the other guest extended their stay unexpectedly, we were only charged for the one room. I would highly recommend this hotel as the staff and manager were truly a pleasure to engage with and very helpful. Staff was eager to help during a local power outage that had the potential of trapping us at the hotel due to lack of generators to run the elevators. I would like to see the beds improved as the exterior seam of the bed made transfers difficult for my husband. I found the beds to be OK, but they definitely transferred motion across the bed so if I turned over he felt it and vice versa. Plenty of electrical outlets to charge all of your mobile devices, though it would be nice to see a 4 way plug on the side of the bed with the lamp and alarm clock to accomodate medical devices such as a CPAP.
