Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OK In A Pinch! This property was acquired by IHG about 7 years ago. I think they should return it. The elevators have wooden walls which are badly gouged in one and the other has graffitti that has been painted over. It is obvious and very unattractive. It was very surprising to see the condition of this property as a Holiday Inn since it is below their standards. The restaurant, for breakfast, had very slow service and it was almost empty. A guest asked for ketchup but the waitress did not understand English and had no idea what he was asking for. Housekeeping was challenged. We were shorted some towels on two different days and shorted toilet paper on another. The entire property did not have an inviting appearance and looked very worn. I would not stay here again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel met my needs. The Holiday Inn in Saddle Brook, NJ for the most part met my needs. I had a handicap room and there were two problems that presented for me. One I could not get the walker along one side of the bed nearest to the wall. Two the bath tub shower combination was impossible for me to use as I could not climb into and out of the tub. A shower stall with a low entry would have been better. September 25, 2014
