A+ pillows I will stay at this hotel again if i am in the area for work.

This hotel should be reserved for business use in the area. This is not a vacation hotel. The rooms could use some updating but overall, it served it's purpose for me of getting a good nights sleep, good internet access, and the ability to catch the news broadcast that I prefer. The restaurant really needs better management. The food choices are poor as was the service. The service was not poor because the people were not nice, they were nice. They seemed to have little to no training and didn't know how to handle their jobs. They seemed to fear thinking or acting independently. That is typically an indicator of poor management.

I asked rollaway bed but they didn't bring any pillow nor blanket. So I asked to bring them however, there was long hairs and marks of libstick. It was disgusting. I didn't use it.

This property was acquired by IHG about 7 years ago. I think they should return it. The elevators have wooden walls which are badly gouged in one and the other has graffitti that has been painted over. It is obvious and very unattractive. It was very surprising to see the condition of this property as a Holiday Inn since it is below their standards. The restaurant, for breakfast, had very slow service and it was almost empty. A guest asked for ketchup but the waitress did not understand English and had no idea what he was asking for. Housekeeping was challenged. We were shorted some towels on two different days and shorted toilet paper on another. The entire property did not have an inviting appearance and looked very worn. I would not stay here again.

This hotel can certainly be more updated in the future but for what its worth, it did exactly what I expected. got a great nights sleep and was out quickly. Just off the expressway so really convenient for me and my destination.

The Holiday Inn in Saddle Brook, NJ for the most part met my needs. I had a handicap room and there were two problems that presented for me. One I could not get the walker along one side of the bed nearest to the wall. Two the bath tub shower combination was impossible for me to use as I could not climb into and out of the tub. A shower stall with a low entry would have been better.
