Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tired Hotel Bathroom smelled like mildew and grout in tile was very dirty. Bed pillows were small squares; looked like pieces of Chiclets gum. None of the equipment in the exercise facility was in working condition. Staff was friendly, polite and welcoming. Hotel needs updating. Not up to HI standards. September 15, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A Bit Disappointed! We were able to find the hotel and when we got in our room it seemed the Air Conditioner was struggling to keep up with demand! Then we discovered the refrigerater was not cooling because of ice buildup in the fridge. Went down to complain and the hostess on duty said she couldn't leave the desk but would check into another room for us! We were already tired. So she moved us to a room which was getting ready to be renovated. A bit sub par but a room. Even had a Jacuzzi but we were too tired to take advantage of it. Refrigerater worked , Air Conditioner worked. The hostess gave us complimentary breakfast which was nice of her. We usually book with Holiday Inn Express and have had no trouble with them ever. Not trying to be a tightwad but I feel we should have been discounted for the room as well.Not much of an impression made on us! September 4, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by stick the wall paper back to the wall having used many holiday inns over the years being a platinum member this is the most tired modern property I have seen. it really does need to be updated, and refreshed without any further delay. the wall paper was pealing off the wall in the room and breakfast they only had a very small selection of food as they were out of many items according to the waiting staff. the rate was reasonable until I realised how poor a standard this hotel was August 29, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Old Hotel - Not impressed I would pick another hotel in this area if you are traveing through. This one is not up to the standards of a Holiday Inn Express. The Hotel is older, and the rooms are dated. There was dust and dirt everywhere - not very well maintaned. Rooms were nice size though. Overall, I would not recommed to a friend. August 11, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Screens Missing - Dirty Pool The hotel has an awkward entrance from the highway. When we checked in the front desk appeared to be training a new individual which would explain a small delay. It was late afternoon, well after check-in, but they kept calling back to ask housekeeping if the rooms were ready. There was only one person in front of me, but check-in took approx 15 minutes. No platinum welcome. I checked the pool situation before we left for dinner. There were no towels on the rack, but the rest looked ok. We went to the pool when we arrived back approx 2.5 hours later. Still no towels, and had to ask twice for them. The windows were open and one was missing a screen. There were bugs in the pool. No shampoo/conditioner in the room. Wouldn't stay again if I had a choice. August 9, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No Place sit outside/ Staff rude on Priority Club The grounds around this hotel is limited on where people in a group can sit, the weather in the evening was fantastic, but there was an old broken down bench on the grass, we as a group with our softball team got our own chairs and sat on the hill, but it would be nice to have a patio area to sit in. I am a Priority Club/Rewards member for years, currently with 60,000 points, I complained to the front desk three days in a row of why I wasn't getting a USA today at my door. The lady responsible said I need to call the Rewards Program because they only have me as a basic member and I would have to come down stairs each morning to get a copy of the USA today, yet multiple others on my floor had them sitting out front of their doors in the morning. We stayed here during a large softball tournament and even with all the young adults running around there was not a lot of noise while inside the room. The beds were super comfortable and the hotel was located right off the interstate. Would definitely return to this location! August 4, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by My Stay In Salem (was not SALEM, peaceful) We had stayed there, here, before and chose it due to its high quality appearance and amenities. The pool was was very hot their was no air conditioning in the area, the exorcise room had NO AC, so the door had to stay opened. Normally at this hotel or any IHG properties, as a priority members, we received complimentary breakfast AND a free bottles of water and a snack, all we received was a voucher for a breakfast that was fair at best. The service people were good, the reception desk had two people one was elderly [and I'm ELDERLY] and not very inviting the other younger lady was very accommodating, thank the LORD. I would not recommended this hotel as a priority platinum member. Sorry. July 21, 2014

Would have appreciated a bottled water in my room. Vent in bathroom was dirty and the shower curtain was mildewed. Don't understand the little ties around the pillows - serve no purpose except to annoy. July 21, 2014
