Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another Great Holiday Inn Stay The staff was very responsive from the initial check-in to the final checkout. The staff was very professional, proficient, and efficient. The room I stayed in was very comfortable to work in and a most important fact was a very comfortable place to rest and sleep. When I needed a maintenance person it was solved quickly. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Smelly room and uncoordinated staff We have stayed in a number of Holiday Inns with our family and will continue, just not in this one. We got two rooms and one of them smelled like sardines or something extremely awful. The staff were quick to help spray it down with an air freshener and suggested that we move rooms. They did acknowledge that it was a horrible smell. Because we had two rooms that needed to be close to each other no other room would work. We were stuck. One worker said that the manager would contact us to give us additional points because they felt bad about the situation. The manager never called. The next day when checking out the manager wasn't available, but they said she would call shortly. She never called. A few days later I called and she immediately asked if she could call me back later. I am still waiting for the call. She indicated that she didn't get two messages but only one message to talk to me - these were initiated by the staff. It might be that the staff are too busy. In addition to this, the pool was extremely cold and the staff in the restaurant were not very helpful. It was difficult to understand their rules for platinum members. Overall, I would not suggest this Holiday Inn - there are so many in the area - just visit another one. October 21, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, excellent staff, lacking The staff provided excellent customer service -- very friendly and helpful. Kudos to Colton and Sheren! Loved our comfortable bed. We were visiting family and so we really didn't have time to use the other amenities. I'm a tad disappointed because as a loyal IHG member with Platinum Elite status, I wasn't able to get free breakfast vouchers in lieu of the complimentary room upgrade. I don't blame the employees as I think this is a hotel policy. I think you can get a higher customer satisfaction if you give us the option. I might just opt for the Holiday Inn Express next time.
