hotel is old and needs renovation. The pillow and mattress are not very comfortable.
Lunch at the hotel restaurant was overcooked, low quality and overpriced.
Breakfast is rather good for the money. The staff is great, nice, and friendly.
The hotel overall is clean.
The pool area is very nice but should open earlier in the morning for swims before work.

I was extremely impressed with the appearance both inside and outside of this hotel, they have a beautiful outdoor pool area! The customer service was wonderful and I didn't even have to leave the hotel for my morning coffee! Thanks so much Holiday Inn San Antonio for making my business trip pleasurable! It would be nice to have more TV channel selection.

The hotel is good and all that. Location is excellent-very close to airport and a host of dining, shopping options nearby. The hotel also has a shuttle, so a tired and unwilling driver may be spared from driving.
One specific feedback: I hung up the breakfast card outside my door. It was not picked up (and therefore not delivered). Caused inconvenience and missed my b/fast for that day.
I talked with hotel front desk, and they said they would compensate by adding 1000 points to the account. This did not happen. Also, they did not look very concerned although they said they apologize for this omission.

place is on the older/rundown side. It was priced right and the staff was great. I was there for convenience to the airport. Shuttle was good too.

I truly want to thank the girls at the front desk! They are so super nice and kind. My flight got delay from Miami to San Antonio and I though I was not going to make it in time to check in. But the girls where so nice to let me know not to worry, I would have my room i reserve and the shuttle would pick me up from the airport.
Every time I left the hotel they always have a smile on their faces and always welcoming.....
If I need it to go some where the guys from the hotel shuttle were always there to take me and pick me up, very friendly I never had to wait long to be picked up.
All I can say is overall I had a great experience! The team at the Holiday Inn by San Antonio Airport knows how to provide an amazing customer service....
Thank you all for everything and hopefully soon I can come visit San Antonio and get to see you guys again!

Ok hotel close to the airport. Some restaurants in walking distance, Hotel restaurant was void of customers -elected to eat nearby.. Homeless folks on the corner - do not recommend walking after sunset. Aside from roach in bathtub room was acceptable. Got a goods nights rest, wake up call was good. Desk -friendly but- only after mentioning filling out online feedback was I offered any compensation for roaches in in room.
