Really enjoyed our stay and the location was good. The only thing that I would say is the fire alarm going off so many times. I can understand that there was an issue with the system, that it could not e helped. Overall, great staff and a good stay. Thank you!

I stayed here last week, because of spring break and I'm stuck here again. The property looks nice on the outside, but here it goes. First, I'm platinum priority and for the second time I was not offered the gift pack when there is about twenty behind the counter. Second, I placed the card out for room service at 6 PM and it was still hanging on the door the next day. Third, I did not get a bill under the door. Fourth, they did not ask me how my stay was after waiting for some time to check out. Now because of availability I'm stuck here and experiencing the same service. No priority package. I don't dare put the room service card out as I don't need to wonder if that will work. Stay at any other property. They will treat you with respect and recognize your loyalty.

I stayed here for one month. During the week, except for maybe Fridays, there was no hot water. I was told to let the water run, which I did for up to 20 minutes sometimes. This only made the water bearable but not hot by any means. The couple of times I ate downstairs or ordered room service, the food was average tasting at best. The rooms are not very insulated, you can here other guests on each side of your room with no problem. I should have changed hotels but didn't want to deal with the hassle being on government TDY and all. I would not stay here again.

At checkin, as a Platinum member I asked for drink coupons. The receptionist told us they were out of them. Strike 1
No breakfast vouchers in our folio...we had to ask for them. Strike 2.
We had two rooms. Lights burnt out in both rooms. Strike 3
Went to iron clothes in the morning....no iron or ironing board in the room Strike 4
Printer at "business center" non functional...Strike 5
No breakfast buffet because staff did not show. Order off menu. Over 20 minutes for bagle and sausage links. I felt sorry for the man functioning as waiter.---Strike 6
Two outs in the bottom of the ninth...we cancelled our second night and stayed at another property

Really enjoyed my stay here. There is a nice fitness room with towels and a water cooler. The attached restaurant and bar is nice, but breakfast service can be very slow-be careful if you are in a hurry. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Day #1....checked into room, not offered upgrade as I am a Platinum member and facility was not that busy. Got into room and noticed makeup on pillow cases. Requested to have pillow cases and sheets changed....bedding left at my room door for ME to change!
Day #2....No service to my room, I was told I must have called in to request that my room not be cleaned...why would I do that? They sent someone up at 8:30pm to clean room, upon me getting back after that my key does not work.
Day #3....No coffee replenished, no soaps, no shampoos and no towels replaced.
Day#4....Checking out......NEVER to come back to this hotel ever, to find out that I am charged more for my room than agreed!
I used to come to this hotel often....never again will I go back. Terrible service and not clean at all. NOT how you treat anyone!

Upon my arrival at the hotel, i was not greeted as a priority club member. as i was excited about my 1st paid stay as a platinum member. upon entering my room there was a blanket over my televison and the pillows were on the chair. i called the front desk and asked if someone else was in this room, and explained my findingsand asked if the tv was broken. i was told nobody else was checked in there and well just to remove the the blanket that they tv was fine.
Later that evening as i was about to shower the, shower was dirty with hair. i took the liberty to clean it, but didnt call since nothing was done before i didnt think any thing would be done this time
i usually have a very pleasant expirence at this property, but not this time

Great room with comfortable beds! Cory (front desk) and Donna (Restaurant) offered the best service. Several towels needed to be taken out of circulation! Hotel, gym and indoor pool well kept. Overall enjoyed our stay!

The room was not clean to industry standards. The sheets and pillow cases had visible stains. There was dust on the furniture, and the floor had not been thoroughly vacuumed.
The staff helped me, such as when I needed to secure a late check out. But I had to convince them to do so (even though the hotel was not full, and my check out was on a Sunday). When I came back to get my things, the door was locked anyway, and I had to return to the desk to have my key reset. At least my things hadn't been put out in the hallway.
I am a regular guest of Holiday Inn's across the country and am a Priority Club Member. I did not receive one benefit for my membership at this hotel. This was the worst Holiday Inn experience I have had so far.

I loved staying at this hotel. When I checked in, the staff was very inviting and helpful. They gave me two free passes (for my sister and myself) to the breakfast buffet at the on-site restaurant. They also gave me a gift bag for being a Priority Rewards Member. The food was very good and the wait staff were extremely attentive. When I contacted the front desk, they always addressed me by Ms. Ko as well as when I passed by the front desk in passing. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a great value with great service!

Our recent stay at Holiday Inn in San Antonio/Sea World area was disappointing. I have stayed at Holiday Inns in several states. This particular one had a very small room compared to the others. It was not cleaned well. The bed sheets were clean and the room looked dust free. However, there was a smear of dirt in the bath tub which I attributed to the water perhaps having sediment. But the toilet seat had a dried on patch of something yellow which I wiped off with a wet tissue and then proceeded to wipe off the rest of the toilet seat. I attributed that to the cleaner used perhaps being yellow. But when we put the bathmat down on the floor and stepped on it with our wet feet, the towel turned greyish brown with dirt from the floor. At that point we decided the maid had not done a very good job of cleaning the bathroom.
To make matters worse, there was a crew of men who also stayed at the hotel. They walked in with filthy clothing and boots clogged with dirt. As they walked through the lobby, onto the elevator and out onto the carpeted 6th floor where we were staying, their boots left a trail of clumps of dirt clear down the hallway to their room. Those clumps of dirt were there for one entire day into the next until we complained at the front desk.
And the lighting in the rooms is awful. It was impossible to see well enough to put my make-up on.
Additionally, the doors need to be padded somehow. We were awakened several times by rude guests allowing their doors to slam shut. W realize that the hotel cannor prevent rude behavior, but the doors are very loud when closing and it seems like this can be mitigated easily.
This particular Holiday Inn is one we will never stay in again.

This was our fourth visit in just over a year. During this last visit, our room wasn't cleaned on one of the days. There was no mistake on our part such as leaving the DO NOT DISTURB sign on. This was actually the second time this happened; on the last night of our prior visit, the room hadn't been cleaned and we'd been gone from 9am until 11pm. On both occasions, I called the front desk. I got no apology, nor an explanation. I'm not pushy so I didn't get angry on the phone, but both times I was taken aback by the nonchalance of the front desk operator.
Also, the hotel in general (for the common areas) did not appear to have been vacuumed--the dust and trash on the carpet was immediately offputting.
Further, why is the coffee bar never open?
Finally, on our last morning, we placed multiple calls to order room service, and no one ever picked up.
We won't stay here again.

Had friends suggest other hotels but couldn't justify the price knowing we were only in the hotel long enough to sleep and shower! Thus the pricing of the Holiday Inn is initially what attracted me. I knew the hotel was fairly new (within a few years, I think) and was pleased to see it was still super clean. The rooms were very clean and the two queen beds were very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the bathroom was -- plenty of room to move around. I liked the eco-friendly aspect to the hotel as well, and the fact that it is entirely no-smoking. I needed additional blankets, which were not in the room, but when i called down to request them, they were delivered to my room promptly. A bit of noise from feet on the floor above and doors closing down the hall. We faced the back side of the hotel and there was no noise from the highway or parking lot. I would have liked to seen more/better parking closer to the front of the hotel and better lighting in the parking lot. All in all, I was very pleased with the room and would recommend. Super close to Sea World too! :)

Beds were very comfortable. Room was average and clean, but could use a few updates and renovations. Average motel/upscale price/however--received a discount for special event. Good location (easy access from 1604 Loop).

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis, but this stay i was alittle disappointed. To start, i didn't have a office chair in my room so i had to pull the "comfy" chair from the corner of the room, but it not being a office chair, sitting trying to do my work on my laptop was very uncomfortable. i asked the front desk for one, and i didn't get a chair the whole week. Also the wifi was down at the beginning of the week, which i NEED in order to do my job. My company has been going to this hotel for a few years now so they know the importance of the internet to us. i also didnt have a trash bin so i didnt have a place to put my trash. When eating in the restaurant i notice an over abundance of fruit flies, and made eating a disgusting task. But like all the other times i have stayed here the staff have been awesome, helping me with whatever i needed #except the office chair##and trash bin#.

My son, ever the individual, decided to get married on 10-11-12, super cool, right? Except that it was a Thursday in another city, on a Thursday. So after 15 months of planning and paying and planning and more paying and finally the Wedding, which was beautiful, we were finished, they were off to their honeymoon and I was exhausted. So I decided to treat myself to a couple of days of down time at the Holiday Inn, my favorite hotel chain. The room was cool, comfortable and quiet. I think I spent 36 hours sleeping, room service breakfast was delicious, on time and fairly priced. Excellent stay and just another reason, I will always choose the Holiday Inn as the place to lay my head.

We stayed at this hotel because we received a great rate and it was close to SeaWorld. The room was a good size and the bathroom was larger than most hotel bathrooms. The pools were great and perfect for our small children that do not swim well, since they had a toddler pool and an area around the regular pool that was only a foot deep. One of the days we were there, the weather turned cold, so we used the indoor heated pool. The only cons we had during this stay is that there was only one check-in person at the desk and it was a very busy night. They also did not tell us that we had to sign up for the shuttle service to go to SeaWorld (another hotel we stayed at earlier in the year had a first come, first serve shuttle). Luckily, they were very nice and accommodating after hearing our predicament and Jeff the shuttle driver was GREAT!! Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel building itself is very nice. The main areas look new and clean. The shuttle to Sea World is a plus, but I ended up taking my car for convenience and security.
However, the great potential of this location was wasted by the poor housekeeping and lack of security. At arrival I found a Cherio in one bed and a Cheeto in the other. I had also asked about parking lot security before I booked the hotel, and when I checked in. I was assured that they had security, but the next morning the Police were there beacuse several vehicles had been broken into (windows broken). That made me nervous about leaving my car there.
After a nice day at Sea World Aquatica, I drove back to the hotel and then drove around for 10 minutes looking for a parking spot. They have several spots reserved for fuel effecient vehicles, but let huge pickup trucks and SUVs park there because there is not enough parking in front of the hotel where it is better lit.
Most dissapointing, I found my room door had been left completly unlocked by the Maid service. I had pushed on it before I left to check that it had 'latched' closed, but the Housekeepers had not. iT opened wide with a very small push. It looks like all my valuables are here, but this was very uncomfortable.
I called the front desk to complain. Although very appologetic and nice, it was clear that the young girl at the desk was not making any notes to fix the situation. She informed me that maintenance was unavailable to fix the door. Well I didn't need or want mainenance bothering me that night.
It did get cold that night, so I called the front desk for a blanket. #There were only sheets on the bed and no blankets elsewhere in the room#. The same girl said shewould get housekeeping to bring us one. It never showed up!
This morning I discovered than when here, the housekeeper did not replenish my coffee, condiments or coffee cups. Once again, I had to call the front desk. This time the coffee showed up.
To recap: POOR HOUSEKEEPING, LACK OF SECURITY WITH SEVERAL VEHICLE BREAK INS ON THE SIDE PARKING AREA, INADEQUATE PARKING IN THE FRONT, AND VERY NICE BUT INEFFECTIVE STAFF.
