A lot of fun and convenient especially if you stay downtown and want to be near attractions and restaurants. Definitely a must do. Favorite restaurant is County Line...,nice accommodations; quiet room, comfortable, nice flatscreen TV, wooden floors

A great place to stay in a great city. The hotel is located on the riverwalk and steps from a bus stop. The service and value for our dollar.could not have been better. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpfull. We would stay there again and we would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
We give it 4 stars

It's conveniently located on the River-walk and the rooms were recently remodeled with a very modern look. Would stay there again with no hesitation.

I travel alot, stayed 3 nights, went home for Mothers Day and returned Sunday for 2 more nights. The rooms were exceptionally clean and have been remodeled with a new contemporary look. This hotel is right on the river so it is easy to go mingle with tourists on the river or get away from it all at the hotel. The bar has a beautiful view. Most important all of the staff members were courteous and professional. Each asked how my day was going and is the hotel meeting my expectations. The answer was, it surpassed them.

had a late check in because rooms were not ready on time staff did not seem to care then they got me mixed up with other family members charged me for parking [60.00] that I did not have issue is yet to be resolved once again the staff didn't seem to care . The floor in our room was never swept and we had no toilet paper . It is nothing like the web site says it is, shop around there is better and cheaper close by

Locations was great and convenient. Relative was getting married and we just had to walk across the street. But at night there were too many drunken guests. Last night I was there there was a drunken couple right outside my room that fought all night. I literally got no sleep. About the only time you could get good sleep is during the day when its quiet and empty but at night it is literally party all the time.

The service was the best we had experienced in a long time anywhere. The young lady at the front desk was really great. Service in the bar and restaurant was also great. Rooms were a little small but they were nice. Great time had by all. THANKS, Terri

We stayed here on a Friday night before heading out to Fredericksburg. It's within walking distance of the Riverwalk and the Alamo. The newly remodeled foyer was modern and nice, though I thought a little dirty because of all the foot traffic. I think it could have used a bit more mopping. We stayed in Room 611, so we had a Riverwalk view. The staff was nice and accommodated our request for a late check out.
Even though the room was right across from the elevator bank, we didn't hear much traffic and certainly didn't wake up from the noise. Like the foyer, the room was modern with laminate faux wood floors. I loved the bathroom and how they arranged the tiles. I'm SO glad to see that the bathtubs are gone, and replaced with a shower pan and frameless shower door (although this could be a negative for families with young children). I also really liked the backlit bathroom mirror (future remodeling ideas?!?!). The balcony had an ok view of a quieter part of the Riverwalk, but it was somewhat obscured by trees (I can live with that).
There were a ton of plugs everywhere and next to our beds, which is great since we travel with 4 devices (free wifi!), and we're not scrambling to unplug clocks and lamps. The sheets were nice and clean and felt luxurious. My husband likes flat pillows, so the pillows were a little too fluffy for him. My only minus might be the bathroom towels. They seemed a little cheap and worn, and probably could be replaced with something a little nicer. Also, Holiday Inn provides Bath & Body Works toiletries, which is fine, but maybe they need to pick a smell that's not as strong as coconut lime.
Overall, a great stay, and we'll keep it in mind if we ever visit again.
