Our overall stay was very enjoyable. Clean, comfortable
room, courteous and helpful staff. Only did breakfast meal, which was great from the menu and the buffet.
Had other meals when we were out and about.
I would have no problem recommending this hotel. Parking was a little pricey, but acceptable. Pool area was a little on the small side, but acceptable. Price of stay was not inexpensive, but worth it. Sure you can find cheaper place to stay, but not of this quality. Worth the price for me. I would stay again.

This hotel was nice, but nothing spectacular. The hotel staff were slow, but very nice. The price was a little high for the size of the room, but everything is overpriced on the SA Riverwalk.

Trolleys and buses pass by close, Alamo is a four block walk, the hotel is ON the Riverwalk so please take time to walk this and enjoy. One of the major pickup location of the River Cruises is across the street from the hotel.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely weekend staying in a King Suite at the Riverwalk location. The room was beautiful, clean and much roomier than we expected. Our only complaint was that the bed. It was flat, flat, flat. If felt a bit like being back in college and sleeping on a futon! Other than that, we were quite happy. We spent the hottest part of the day lounging in the living space and enjoyed having our own balcony and direct access to the Riverwalk. We had a good breakfast with great service at the restaurant overlooking the river, which was an added bonus.

Our stay was a great experience. I have been a Holiday Inn customer and member of your Award program for at least 25 years. For the most part, I have always been treated courteously and with professional staff at my finger tips.
The Holiday Inn Riverwalk was by far my/our nicest experience.
The only problem was the coffee in the machine in the Lobby area was horrible.

Customer service at check in was disastrous. There were too many issues to begin to write about. So many that, for the first time in my life, I asked to speak to a manager the next day. I don't feel that the manager I spoke to was overly concerned about my issues. She did issue me a "sincere apology" and said they would use my experience in "training." I'm afraid my complaints went in one ear and out the other since she didn't ask for my room number, the offending front desk worker's name and wrote my name (grossly misspelled) on a random piece of paper. How can you train someone when you don't know who the offending employee was? Sadly, there were more issues at check out with an incorrect bill.
The hotel itself is a great property. It's on the RiverWalk--close enough to all the action, but removed enough to be quiet. The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean. Even though I loved the hotel itself, I don't think I would stay here again because of the poor customer service.

The front desk staff is amazing.. always so accommodating even when im being a room diva they always make me happy. I stay here every week and look forward to it every time.
