Highly recommendable, enjoyed my stay and free complete breakfast was superb! Staffs were awesome they even gave us a snack tray being a priority club member. Will always look for a Holiday Inn on our future trips.

The entire staff was wonderful, but the breakfast ladies were exceptional they catered to my husband and I every morning we were there as if no one else existed. Well at least that was how they made us feel. The place was extremely clean.I can't wait to go back. The night auditor was also very sweet having coffee for me each night before I would go to my room.The landscape is very pretty. My husband enjoyed the outdoor pool very much. I thought the pool area was very well maintained and relaxing.

Stayed here many times when in from out of state and never had anything but great service. Shuttle is nice and good breakfast too.
My telephone in the room did not work, but this is the only time I have had any issue like that. People there are some of the bet I have encountered traveling.

This is a great hotel for Charger game fans. Quick access off the freeway, and back to the game. Quiet rooms. Next to military airport, it's an airshow out the window sometimes. But not noisy at all. On site restaurant and IHOP across the street.

Our room was right next to the vending machines and surprisingly we couldn't hear the machines. Our room was very large and clean. The location is great as well. You can take 805 to 163 and drive down to downtown.
I only wish their parking space is a little bigger.

This hotel is perfect. The rooms and bathroom are spacious and clean. The location was excellent for our needs and the service from all the staff was excellent. Perhaps the only drawback was that the hotel was a little full and the food at the complementary breakfast was a little scarce. This due to the fact that, as soon as a new tray of eggs or bacon was brought in, it was cleared out and it took some time for more to come.
Other than that we had a great stay and would return to this property and recommend it.

We stayed 3 nights...The first morning we had no hot water and the breakfast buffet was empty at 6:45...we notified the front desk nd there response was sorry we are sold out....We had plans all- day so when we returned later that night, the tv was not working...It was late so no big deal..The next morning we showered with hot water but the shampoo & conditioner was not replenished so we ran out...I stopped at the front desk on our way out and they told me they have a new TV service provider and leave the TV on for 30 minutes and that it will download the new format...No problem we did...we returned later that night...No TV...but there was a note stating that there is a appointment scheduled....we had no TV the rest of our visit...We ordered room service for breakfast the rest of our visit to make sure my son had something to eat...as we checked out the front desk response was Sorry and what was your room number...That's it...Once again we have to settle for bad customer service

Great location-less than 15 away from Fashion Valley and 25 minutes away from San Marcos. Bed was comfortable. Rooms was a little stuffy but that was easy fixed by turning on the AC. Front desk staff was friendly. Morning breakfast was excellent and the waitresses were very nice. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here because it was much closer to Comic Con then the hotel we stayed at in Poway the prior year. However, I really wished we stayed at the other hotel. It was much more comfortable. While this hotel is fairly clean and the staff is friendly, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. We barely got any sleep and were exhausted at Comic Con, what a bummer! The free breakfast was excellent the first morning, Thursday, but was awful on Friday morning. It was almost like the stuff was left out all day Thursday and served Friday morning. The eggs were blah, bagels were stale, and the country potatoes were WAY under cooked...almost raw! The hostess was very pleasant and helpful though. They seem to have ample parking, but maybe that because they made the spaces smaller to fit more cars. Anyway, I personally would not stay here again...but to each is own.

I don't know how old this hotel is, but it looks brand new. Our room looked so good, it should be on the cover of a magazine. Everything at this hotel was perfect. Adequate parking, security, friendly staff, fitness room, A/C. The best part was the complimentary breakfast...it was better than IHOP.... this was a full breakfast, with a staff that made you feel like you were at a restaurant. They filled our coffee cups for us. This is what every hotel should be like and what others should aspire to be.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

It was so nice to have a choice of pillows and to have the pillows labeled as to softness or firmness. Next time we would probably ask for two queen beds. We had two full beds, but the adults no longer sleep in such a cozy width.

We stay at this hotel when visiting family. The Breakfast is now FREE, which is a good deal. The staff is great, the snack area has good prices. Very close to the highway, shopping and restaurants etc.

Booked this hotel as it was close to the university for my daughters volleyball tournament. When i checked in I was impressed at how nice the lobby was set up, nice, clean and spacious. The young lady that checked us in was helpful, very polite and efficient.
The room was nice and appeared to have a modern, updated look. It was clean, smelled fresh and was larger than I expected it to be with plenty of room to relax and move around. The beds (we had 2 double beds) were comfy and included both soft and firm pillows on each bed, i was able to get a good nights rest.
The bathroom was clean, nicely appointed and looked to have been recently remodeled. It also included plenty of towels which is always a plus.
Included in the price was a free hot breakfast in the adjoining restaurant, eggs, potatoes, meats, breads fresh juices and plenty of fresh fruits. It was a blessing to not have to find something off site to eat as we are usually rushed on tournament days.
All in all a perfect nights stay. Great property with a nice friendly attentive staff. large clean rooms and great amenities. I will stay here again.

Great location and room. Oly checked us in late 2am and was terrific. Sleep in late because of arrival time, missed breakfast, out of room by 12:30. Returned to room 7:30pm to change for our event and found room had not been attended to, unacceptable. Oly was on front desk and sent towls, water and someone to strighten up room, she saved the trip.

I stay here very often. The staff is outstanding. The rooms and the hotel is very clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The value is very good. The only areas in need of improvement are the cable tv service, the guest business center and the laundry room facilities. The cable tv service needs to be upgraded to digital. The flat screen tvs are nice and HD compatible, although the service is only analog. The guest business center has very old computers and should be upgraded, it would be a minor cost. And finally the laundry room only has 2 washers and dryers and it seems that there is always one of the washers or dryers out of service. Even with these minor issues I still am very satisfied overall with the hotel.

I am a frequent traveler and this was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn. My daughter's soccer team was playing at State Cup nearby and our team stayed at the Holiday Inn San Diego - North Miramar. We knew the hotel was sold out as we had booked some of the last rooms available. On our first night, we went to the Spiral Lounge and Restaurant to eat. We were a large party and overwhelmed the poor waiter who appeared to be the only one working in the restaurant besides the cook. It took a very long time to get our food but we thought maybe they didn't staff up because they weren't expecting to have many people in the restaurant (even though they knew the hotel was sold out.
The following day, while at the pool there was a family who was looking for some towels and they were told by the staff that they had already brought out 200 towels for the day and weren't bring anymore. Later that evening, a couple of us went to the lounge to have a drink. We noticed there was another large group in the restaurant and a few others throughout the restaurant and lounge. Once again, there appeared to be only one waiter having to take care of the whole place (the poor guy from the night before).
The following morning, we went down to the breakfast buffet at 9:20am. The buffet was supposed to be open until 10:00am. When we got there, I asked if they had anymore cereal and was told they were out. We then noticed there was no more bacon and most of the juice was gone. I asked a server if they were going to be bringing out anymore bacon and was rudely told "We aren't bringing anything else out. People are only supposed to eat once." I said, "We just got here. This is the first time we are eating. It's only 9:20am and the buffet is supposed to be open until 10:00am." She just looked at me, shrugged her shoulders and said, "We can't bring anything else."
On top of the horrible service, the beds were very hard and the pillows were lumpy.
I am the travel manager for our team and selected this hotel based on the recommendation from the tournament. So I felt really bad for all of the families as they complained they were just as uncomfortable in their beds as I was and were frustrated by the fact that the hotel didn't plan their staffing or food for a sold out weekend. We were all very disappointed by the responses we received from various staff members as they didn't seem to care about our experience.
We have many personal family trips and team trips coming over the next several years and none of them will include another stay at a Holiday Inn.
