Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 New Favorite Spot We were looking for a hotel near Fisherman's Wharf. We have two children (5 & 9) and wanted to minimize our walking to get around the touristy area of San Francisco. It was easy to pick this hotel based simply on the location. However, we were surprised to find a very clean, crisp hotel, with exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. March 29, 2015

Denny's restaurant in the wharf building is overpriced for Breakfast and offers no discount to hotel guests. Food/beverages very pricey- we went elsewhere. Front desk a bit surly when my wife asked for a free drink coupon for me being a Platinum member (I'm a platinum member but booked room under her name due to current Step into night promo). We were mistakenly identified as another family (platinum family) at check so the fault lies with the front desk not us. March 29, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stay Someplace else Our room smelled strongly of urine and if it wasn't for the location, we would have moved hotels. There are other area hotels at the same price but were full. This is the first holiday inn that I've ever stayed at that didn't have free coffee for guests in the morning. And the mattress and duvet were so overly used and worn. We asked for a handicap room (as my daughter uses a motorized wheelchair) but we didn't want a roll in shower because she can't use it with a motorized chair and the check in clerk did not even listen. The street noise was so loud we couldn't even hear the TV part of the day. This room should be for storage only. Please start with ripping out the carpet and putting room filter on the air circulation blower! March 28, 2015

Personnel assez courtois, mais les procédures administratives sont trés longues (check in/out) avec trop peu de personnel pour évacuer le flux de client efficacement. Sentiment de lenteur. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and attentive staff This hotel is convenient and a good home base for those who want access to all sights, attractions, restaurants and night life in SF. I found the staff to be accommodating, generally nice and pleasant not aggressive looking to get a tip or make you feel that they are doing you a favor. The rooms were clean, bed is comfortable, shower and bathroom is great but the furniture is looking a little dated. In comparison to all the other hotel out there I think the rooms are a little expensive but then again you are paying for the location. March 24, 2015
