Not as clean as I would have thought, not happy with the price or the location of our room right outside the elevator. Horrible layout and logistics.

Clean and updated hotel. Reasonable rates and great accommodations. Staff are very friendly; the front desk staff Ramsey and Jordan are very nice and helpful! They truly care about their customers.

Really good room, very comfortable, good value. Close to downtown San Mateo which is a great place to eat, wander and relax. Staff is generally helpful and attentive.
Most importantly, I found out at least 1 associate's commitment to customer service and the guest experience goes beyond the stay. Nikki helped me resolve a mistake by my credit card company quickly, professionally and with an attentiveness that went above and beyond. Being able to trust and count on a stranger who really doean't have a stake it getting an issue resolved goes a long way in my book.
Definitely recommend the hotel, and I am grateful to the staff for their customer focus before, during and after my multiple stays. I will be staying with them often.
