Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding staff I stay at alot of IHG hotels and the full service hotes that have been updated are all pretty similar; rooms and amenities are very nice, but what set this hotel apart from others was the young lady that checked me in. She was quick, courteous, had a sincere smile and was behind the counter when I checked out the next day. She went out of her way to correct an issue with my bill that she could just as well have said there was nothing she could do. I appreciated her taking the time to help a guest. November 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overnight Stay for Anthem Richmond Marathon The hotel check in was super fast and the front desk staff were friendly and answered all my questions. We requested a late checkout due to the marathon and they were more than happy to give us a late checkout! The room was clean, large, and comfortable. Loved having the mini refrigerator in the room. We didn't get the oportunity to have breakfast because the race started at 7am so we had to be out of the hotel before breakfast started. I will recommend this hotel and stay again. November 18, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Staff and Facilities Poor I stay at this Holiday inn , because it is a full service hotel. But the bar was Closed and the staff gave no comments as to why.Absolutely no excuse for this. I have stayed here 3 times this year and this hotel lacks A Holiday Inn image. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Responsive front desk and maid service While I had attained a late check out that would allow me to clean up following the Richmond Marathon I was slightly delayed (about 15 minutes). The front desk was accommodating and gave me entry into my room to pick up my clothes and clean up. However, the maid service had already cleaned my room. But the maid service was accommodating enough to allow me to enter my room and take care of my business. It was much appreciated. November 18, 2014
