Basic good experience for an airport hotel. Fist time there so little or no way to compare other hotels in this area. I do travel internationally often. Not to much going on which may be good if one is just about business. Better than average for shot stays. The staff was helpful as much as they could be.

Stayed here for a business conference. Convenient to the airport. Comfortable room, friendly staff. Small restaurant but good selection and good food.

My wife and I were looking for a hotel near the airport for the night before we flew home to Texas for a weekend. Since we're platinum members with IHG, it made sense to go with this Holiday Inn. It got good reviews, and it had the park-and-go room option so that we wouldn't have to deal with driving to and parking at the airport. It saved us money, too, since I'm certain that airport parking for the duration of our stay would've been more expensive than the slightly higher room rate for the park-and-go option.
Anyway, there's not much to say. We arrived late on a Friday evening. It was a safe-looking area, the parking lot was well-lit, the building was well-kept, and there were lots of other hotels in the area. We checked in, the staff was extraordinarily friendly, the room was clean and looked very nice. We had to take the 4:30 am shuttle the next morning, and checkout was super easy. The shuttle driver was friendly, and a safe driver.
When we arrived back to Virginia after our trip, we only had to wait a few minutes for a shuttle to arrive to pick us up. Our car was fine, totally untampered with. The staff was friendly again as we told them goodbye. Everything was great.
A simple, but perfect, experience with a hotel.

I stayed here 2 years ago, and the food hasn't improved. It took 20 minutes to get breakfast, and it was cold. They waited that 20 minutes to tell us that they didn't have a primary ingredient for what one of the people at our table ordered, so we had to sit and watch him eat. At least his was warm. Reservations screwed up not only our reservation but that of a friend staying at the hotel, and had us checking out a day early. Therefore we returned to our room after a long day to find we were locked out. The only resolution was to go back down to the lobby. No extra service to send someone up to let us in, and also, no apology from the rude desk clerk. When I told her I wanted to speak to the general manager the next day, she didn't even make note of the complaint. I will not be returning to this hotel.

Change from September to October. This is the only item which could have improved on the visit. Everything else was excellent
