Upon arrival, the desk clerk greeted me with a beautiful smile, putting me at ease. She looked up my booking info and immediately assigned me a room close to the elevator as requested. During the 3 day stay, I engaged several members of the hotel staff in conversations and asked questions which was answered with a smile. Everyone was helpful and no one seemed to be in a hurry to go or do something else. I do however, hope that if and when our group return to this hotel, and we will, that enough dining room staff is available for folk to have lunch. I personally would love that rather than going out somewhere to either get some food and bring it back to the hotel to eat as I did. The air condition in the dining room must be turned down so folk can be comfortable.

We booked a hotel this past weekend on 6/19 paid for the room in cash was advised that we needed to place a credit card on file for incidental fees. I was told they would only "hold" $10.00 on my card. However the following day my card was charged for the incidental fee as well as the full price of the room. I immediately contacted the hotel and the front desk clerk apologized and advised that they were working on my problem and it would be fixed immediately. I was hoping by Monday morning this would be handled due to the fact that this happened over the weekend.
I checked my credit card again on Monday and noticed that the issue wasn't handled. I called the hotel again and explained my issue with the front desk staff and she transferred me to the General Manager's voice mail who never called me back. Called again this morning and was given a manager who told me that she is unable to correct the problem and only the General Manager can fix this issue who happens to be out today. I guess he was out the day before too! No one knows when he will be in. So I am left without any resolution to my issue and bunch of apologies with no one able to tell me when this issue would be resolved and I now I feel I am getting the run around since it's not their money.
I will say the front desk and the daytime manager were pleasant but they were unable to help me. I left a second message for the General Manager today.

Where do I start. I first had to wait at the front desk for at least 5 minutes while the only person at the desk was on the phone. I understood that she was setting up reservations for someone else, but she never even acknowledged me. I was not recognized as a platinum member and had to ask if I would be getting my welcome points. Then when I went to the "business center" the printer was out of ink. After watching the staff run around in circles, but never getting the printer to work, I was permitted to print my boarding passes at the front desk. this took way too much time. Then the key card would not work. After several trips to the front desk, it was determined that the lock was broken and we had to pack up everything and move to a new room. All I wanted was a room close to the airport, to relax in, before a very early flight. That just didn't happen.
