We stayed here as a stop over when driving from San Francisco to LA along Highway 1. The room was great, had kitchenette. No recognition of Priority membership though.

Housekeeping friendly helpful and great customer service...
Front Desk...Lacking. Not friendly, no eye contact and the guy that checked us in did not answer our questions and then said he would connect our 2 propiorty club cards but didn't, did not want us there.
Then we returned because our key did not work and the girl just hastily re coded it, again like she did not want to deal with us. She did not even check our ID she had no idea if we stole the cards.

I called and the man at the desk did not think that they accepted the entertainment card but I found out later they do. The room was and bed was comfortable but the shampoo and lotion were half empty so it made me think if the G.R.A. put half used things out for the next guest are the sheets I just slept in dirty and the towels,There was also food stuck to one of the coffee lids so I didn't use it. I stopped by the front desk and asked to speak with a Manager I was told everyone is in a meeting so Amanda took my info and wrote it on a clipboard and I was told that the Manager would call me when they were out of the meeting. 2 days later still no call. If the Manager doesn't call back when a guest leaves info then they just don't care which is how I feel. I did speak with Danielle and she was very helpful with a. log on issue

The room and area were excellent. It housed my family of 4 perfectly. Also when our TV wasn't working, a maintenance man was sent and he arrived right away. He was very friendly and prompt.

In addition to being shabby and dirty we had to call maintenance twice for a 2 night stay. The television, for which reception and channel selection is poor, was so tentatively wired it would not turn on. The plumbing is so bad that when the family above us bathed or showered our kitchenette sink would back up and water poured from the fire sprinkler in the bathroom. Apparently they are aware of the problem because the maintenance man was only not surprised when we called, but stopped at the floor above us before he came to our room. And, while not the hotel's fault, the commotion in the hall outside our room at 3:30 am, which turned out to be a bunch of loud low-lifes and 2 police officers, the hotel staff on duty did nothing to control or resolve the issue. The very outdated equipment in the fitness center doesn't work properly. And, oh is that air conditioning in the room or an airplane engine - they sound the same.

This use to be a great hotel that we have stayed at many times through the year. However, each time we have stayed it has gotten worse. The room has hair from prior use in the bathroom and in the kitchenette area. The rooms (each that we have stayed in) has had a bad odor that the last stay they had to leave odor spray in the room for us. The kitchenettes are no longer fully stocked and we always have to call for supplies to cook and clean with. The last 3-times we checked in we were treated badly when our credit card didn't go through. When we called the company they informed us that the employee inputted the expiration date wrong. So, the declined card was always the employees lack of doing there job correctly. At one point they (hotel staff) asked us to leave our room because of. We went downstairs to find out it was the hotels fault. I would no longer recommend this hotel to stay at. However, the restaurant and staff are always kind and the food is good. The bar area is always nice, clean and the staff there are kind as well.

This is my second time stay in this hotel, the first time the front desk was ok but the second time they were not that.....I was the only customer at the check in and wanted to ask few questions about the hotel and she seems very busy and not answering anything....bad customer service!

This has been the nicest Holiday Inn I've been to. I travel alot for work and room and staff were all great. On my forth day a bus load of teenagers showed up, but they quickly got them to thier rooms and I never heard them again.I had a few issuses with the door card and they fixed it right away. I will be staying here again on my next visit to Santa Maria for work.
