I stayed two separate times the week of April 8.
For the first day I chose the hotel so that I could rest after an all night flight before my late afternoon flight to Calama later that day.
I had an early morning arrival (6 am) and the checkin was fine. The challenge was the jackhammer that woke me at 10:00 am. The noise was so loud that the front desk person couldn't understand me on the phone due to the noise. After an hour I moved to another room and got some more sleep. Because my flight was at 5:30 I had to pay for another partial day. This was a very expensive quick stay that did not allow for the rest I had hoped for.
Great location and nice new rooms.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CrashAdvisor Great hotel, great location and great service
This hotel is literally across the street from entrance of passenger terminal at Santiago airport, which is a huge advantage (btw buses for city center are nearby). Nevertheless it's not noisy at all. Hotel looks quite new, surrounded by water pools, and architecure is modern and refreshing. Rooms are spacious and with big windows, beds are comfortable, and all usual features are there. Breakfast is maybe the best I have ever seen in any Holiday Inn hotel. Staff is extremely friendly (which is not the case everywhere, although it should be) and always ready to help. Priority club status acknowledged and adressed accordingly. Absolutely recommended!!!

The only pro the hotel had, at least during my stay there, was its convenient location since I arrived on a late flight.
Upon check-in, I was informed that the room I booked (King Bed) was only available in the "new" building, but the elevator was not working so I accepted a room with two double beds. On top of it, there was no running water in the hotel, so after a long day of traveling I was unable to take a shower, brush my teeth, wash my face, etc. Interestingly, also during check-in, the staff member made sure to inform me that breakfast was not included with my reservation... Maybe a small gesture to offer breakfast as compensation for the problems?
Certainly overpriced, and customer service lacked common sense.

Very clean, comfortable, good breakfast, good service. The highest mark goes to convenience, as it is literally a few steps from the airport, so close I could walk with the luggage cart to the reception desk.

Great location for late arrival and eraly morning flights; Santiago city still readily accessable by Airport Bus except after 2230 hrs

The Santiago Airport Holiday Inn can't be beat for convenience of location. It is only a few steps from the terminal departure door to the hotel lobby. The staff is well-prepared to get you from the front desk to your room quickly, so that you can get every bit of rest after a long flight. The rooms are amazingly quiet for being so close to the runway.

Just what we needed...a stellar experience steps from the Santiago airport entrance. Sure, it's pricey, but worth the value..liked the breakfast buffet best.

Clean and comfortable room, but lacking in amenities.
Only property (out of a dozen IHG properties that I've stayed in the last year) that didn't acknowledge Priority Club membership or Platinum status. Not even so much as a complimentary bottle of water. Maybe because I used points for this stay.
Restaurant remarkably over-priced, even for a hotel/airport location.
Ice bucket in room, but no ice machines on any floor. Stayed on 6th floor and had to go down to bar on 1st floor where bartender grudgingly half-filled my ice bucket.
