Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent Stay My colleagues and I was on a business trip to Sarasota. The business trip was a project contracted under Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Based upon FDOT's direction, we could use state government discount on travel. one of my colleagues and I reserved 2 rooms under the state government discount. Later in the afternoon on the same day, I tried to add 2 more rooms using the state government discount, the computer system informed me there were no rooms available for the government discount. So, I reserved two more rooms at the regular published price, which is 50% higher. When we checked in, according to the front desk personnel, all the rooms that we reserved were the same. I am not happy with IHG the way they handle state government discount. Also, as a Platinum member, the front desk personnel did not even provide upgrade options. Also, in March, I travelled to Tallahassee and tried to reserve a room at Holiday Inn, there is no room available. I thought that Platinum member is guaranteed a room availability. April 14, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Overpriced for experience Excellent staff, clean room, although when we arrived at 4pm our room wasn't ready. We had to wait another hour. Kids running up and down hallway all night. And no breakfast!! Not even coffee. I think for over $200/night we should get coffee and a quiet nights sleep. Other than that was very nice April 8, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terribly noisy hotel The design of the building allows noise from the main floor lounge to move upward to rooms on all floors. Very loud and echo-y. Disappointing staff who would not deal with the noise. Don't stay here if you want to get a good sleep. April 6, 2015

All of the Staff showed fantastic Customer Service. * I'd also like to point out the overall great service that I received at both the Restaurant and Bar.
