Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good view of gulf and restaurant staff great We reserved a room with king size bed with balcony access, never got it, and had our paperwork to prove what we reserved weeks in advance. The woman at the front desk never told us about it, we found out when we went to our room on the 7th floor. We went back down to the front desk, showed her the paperwork and her answer was, "I don't have that typed of room available, but I do have two queens with balcony access". We checked it out, smaller than we thought with balcony access, but when we turned on the heat, the room smelt like a sewer pipe had broken. We went back down to the front desk, told the woman there, (she seemed to be totally unprofessional from the get go), and she told us we would have to take the other room if we wanted to stay there. Being tired from driving most of the day, we were forced to the take the first room. I don't understand your RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE!!!! We were in Florida for a FUNERAL, and this was totally unsatisfactory to say the least!! But there is a good note here: the restaurant staff was awesome!!! December 15, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Run Down This hotel is undergoing renovations but in its current state it is quite run down. The rooms are small and crowded and the bathroom, especially the shower is dirty. Front desk staff was rude when resolving issues and security treated guests poorly as well. December 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Decreasing in Quality I am sorry to say that I found this stay at Lido Beach Holiday Inn to be very disappointing. The hotel reflects a decreasing value of the brand. It is in need of updating/freshening in a big way. There should be no masking of mold/mildew situations, it should be properly taken care of. December 11, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Frustrated Internet User This Hotel is in a great location, they're in the middle of remodeling the hotel so once they're finished i'm sure it will be fantastic. I was traveling on business during my stay so unfortunately the internet connection was so bad i had to check out and go somewhere else. In this modern internet times i don't understand why the connection is so bad Dial-up was faster 20 years ago. I guess if you stay here on vacation and want to relax and get away from the distractions of work it may be better that you can't use the internet. December 8, 2014
