Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Platinum upgrade included smallest room next to front entrance, road and event entrance The worst hotel stay in my life. I was told I was upgraded at check In for being a platinum member. I was "upgraded" to the first floor, next to the road, main entrance and the event doors. The smell of cigarette smoke from the smoking area was in my room. The room was tiny. I was up all night from the noise of people coming in and out of the entrance, the wedding party by the event entrance and the safe beeping for no reason. My friend who is not platinum was also upgraded. He received a suite with a large living room at the top floor. So someone who is just a member, not platinum gets the suite and I get the worst room in the hotel. Not sure why this is the way we upgrade. Wish I didn't waste my anniversary night here. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unexpected upgrade made our stay extra special This recently refurbished hotel was very busy with three weddings but our room was very quite and comfortable. On arrival we were surprised with an upgrade to a suite. The rooms very nicely furnished with soothing colors and comfortable seating. The busy restaurant served very good food. We wished we were staying for longer than one night! September 24, 2014

Other than that the room was just "Eh"...I was promised AAA discount which was not given; when questioned staff member about missing discount was told it cannot be given because i was already given a discount (not true)....Bottom line; you get more for the same money at much nicer hotels.
