Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Last Time I Stay Here! Just after checking in with the hotel I walked down to find my room. Just walking down the main hall I found that it smelled like cigarette smoke! That is absolutely disgusting! My room was right across the hall from the smoking rooms and anytime I opened the door to go out I smelled it. There is a light for when you walk into the room but past that if you want light in the room you have to turn on the lights next to the bed and the desk manually. One of the lights next to the bed didn't even turn on! Then in the bathroom if you try to use the toilet room forever to be used again. I was visiting a friend and they came to the room for a little and we both used the bathroom before going out. Flushing the toilet once then 20 minutes ago they went to use it and it wouldn't flush for some reason. If I go to a hotel I expect that everything is in perfect working condition. This wasn't the case! February 18, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A wonderfull port in a storm ! The Inn was my port in a recent blizzard in Rhode Island. I feared being stranded in the snow without power for days. All of the people working at the Inn were there for three days....they were kind, caring and competent. Whether they were in charge of the desk, cleaning or generally helping, they made me feel safe and well cared for ! The rooms are in the process of renovation and should be beautiful in time for the summer tourists. The restaurant attached to the Inn was a welcome haven. The ambience was lovely...the food, delicious and the service wonderful. The Inn and 300North were a blessing for me in a storm. I would return again if the situation presented itself. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location, good staff This hotel is in a great location in terms of quick access to different parts of South County -- within minutes you are in Narragansett or Wickford or other nearby communities and you are also not that far from the bridges leading to Newport and the highway to Providence. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick place to stay Needed a place to stay while moving my daughter into her sorority house at URI. We only needed a place to sleep for one night. We arrived late but front desk was nice enough to allow us an extra hour for check out though we ended up leaving before that extended time. Price seemed a little high considering the very short term need that we had. There was no time to try or use any of the hotels other facilities or dining areas. They did look nice and appeared very clean. Would have been nice to try but there was no time. January 22, 2015
