This hotel offers a great room at a great location. Staff were friendly and courteous and attentive to needs. Would definitely recommend.

From beginning to end, the service (mainly at the front desk) was the worst ever. The young men working in Valet and Beth, the concierge, were very nice. Beth was the highlight of our stay.
When I made the reservation online, I made note of the address so I could enter it in my GPS. The day before the trip, I called the property to verify my reservation and hotel address. The lady at the desk said that the address on the website was wrong. There was an address on MLK or 20 W. Bryan St. I said that the IHG website has the address as 520 W. Bryan. She told me that was wrong. Well, guess what, it was right. I was driving all over the place trying to find it and the website was correct all the time. The employee didn’t even know the correct address!!
The second morning my wife and I were there, we called Valet to have our car brought up because we were about to leave. There was no one able to answer the phone because they were helping other guests, so I called the frond desk and asked if they would take care of it. The young lady took down my claim check number and said she would let valet know. When we got downstairs, we discovered that she never bothered to contact valet. Some service!!
While we were waiting for our car to be brought up, we stopped by the front desk to get change for a $20 bill. The two front desk clerks both had a “deer in the headlights” expression on their faces and one of the managers came over to help. She counted out the bills in front of me and then said that she couldn’t give out that change because she didn’t have enough in drawer. She was also quite rude and practically threw the $20 bill back at me. She told me to check in the restaurant. Nope, they didn’t have ANY MONEY. Seriously? A major hotel can’t make change for $20? I just wanted to tip the valet, so I wasn’t going to ask the valet for change and then tip him. Beth was at our service again and she took care of it for us.
Upon returning to the hotel at the end of the day from being at the beach, we got to the room our key no longer worked, so downstairs I went. When we finally got in the room, we saw that it had not been cleaned and we had no fresh towels. We had to request them from Housekeeping. Frankly, Beth is the only reason we would return to this hotel, but honestly, I would never recommend this property to anyone!

The overall experience at this hotel was very good except that the hotel was too cold!!
The staff was helpful and friendly in the Bonaventure Room where most of our hotel activities were held.
The staff went out of their way to provide first-class service and saw to it that we we comfortable and all areas were functional.
