Stayed at this property for 4 nights on the floor with "newly upgraded" rooms. When I checked in, I asked for an extra luggage rack and extra hangers. The manager on duty had no idea where he could obtain them. It appeared there was only one drawer in the room and then I found that there was another one - one without a handle to pull it out. The handle was inside the drawer.
The next morning someone knocked at my door at 7:30a.m. and again at 8:15a.m. I have no idea why. I then went out for the day at 10a.m. and when I returned at 4:30p.m. to get ready for dinner, the room was not made up. I called the front desk and they sent someone to take care of it. When he arrived, I asked him to leave extra towels so I could shower in the evening and again in the morning. When I returned to the room, there were only 2 bath towels, the toilet was not cleaned, and it was clear to me that he only pulled up the sheets, took the towels on the floor and left 2 new towels.
The next morning we went to the buffet and the food was atrocious. The waffle tasted like it was prepared weeks ago (yes, I know it wasn't); it was like a piece of cardboard with an awful taste.
All in all, my visit suffered because of the hotel. I travel quite a bit and stay at a variety of hotels and have never had this type of experience, especially for the cost of the room.
