The fitness room hrs. would not allow you to work-out before 8:00AM and closed early evening. The sofa cushions are worn-out and dated. Breakfast menu can be boring. February 28, 2014

AT EACH STAGE THE STAFF WAS FORTHCOMING TO HELP RATHER THAN SHY AWAY. RECOMMEND MORE STAFF DURING BREAKFAST TIME TO CATER FOR THE RUSH. OVERALL A GREAT EXPERIENCE February 18, 2014

Upon first arrival I was not impressed at all with this location. br At check in I was informed that My reservation was canceled because my credit card was declined. I use a separate credit card for booking and paying depending on the expense category (Business / Pleasure) I have never experience this before. br I was told that the reservation was reinstated but because I was using a MasterCard Debit card I had to pay in advance. This has NEVER been the case before. Not even at the Intercontinental or Crowne Plaza. br I needed the room for a second night and was informed that it would be at the same rate as the original booking. br Upon Check out the staff called to have the mini bar in the room checked. I have never been more offended at check out before. The most that has always happened is the clerk asked if I used anything from the mini bar. br The mini bar at this location was stocked with a couple of sodas, two bottles of water, two juice boxes, and a Kit Kat and Mars Bar. Hardly worth using especially when Room Service is available 24 hours a day. br When I was given the total I realized that the rate I was charged was far more than my original booking. I could have stayed at a different more upscale location for the price I was charged. br I would not recommend this location unless there was not another affordable IHG location in the Dubai area. Taxi Cab fare to this hotel from the Dubai International Airport tops 70 AED. Returning to the Airport can be troublesome with traffic in Dubai. br I did receive an upgrade to a one bedroom suite. Very Large room and bedroom. The bathroom was adequate and the services functional. The towels were old and worn. This hotel can definitely use updating. February 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel and Room Appearance Having visited and stayed in Holiday Inn Philippines a few years back, I just cannot help but to compare the appearance of both hotels. The room itself is nice but it was not what I have expected. The Executive suite where I stayed did not look like one. Even the WIFI connection was poor. Surprisingly, we were issued an internet card to scratch and use which I find quite odd. February 14, 2014
