I have been to Shenzhen three times. Every time i stayed at this hotel. So now it is time for a review.
For other business travelers that needs to visit Shenzhen I can fully recomend this hotel. It is really nice. The facilities is very good and all the hotel staff that I have meet so far speaks good english. The location is also really good. Within walking distance you have some nice malls, shops and bars.
The first two times I visit this hotel I enjoyed to go to the hotel bar called Oscars. A really nice place with good music (somtimes live music), a pool table, draught beer and a lot of good spirit. But now they have closed this bar. I dont understand why because it was one of the best hotel bars I have ever been at.
Now they have a new bar on the third floor. The staff there is really nice, but the place does not have the same spirit as Oscars. Therefore I will give this hotel 4 out of 5 stars. If they re-open Oscars I will give the hotel 5 stars :-)

没有感受到对优越会会员的任何礼遇。当打电话到前台确认优越会会员在此酒店应享有的权利或优待时,被告知并不存在任何形式的优待。且前台人员的语言和态度也不够专业。
公司协议价比旅行网站的价格高出300元,实在无法理解这个协议价是怎样确定的。也许这不完全是酒店的责任,但这样的价格差是在让人无法接受。
这样的酒店实在无法让人再一次入住。

Dawn2010 Superb location with good facilities
The room after brand relaunch is very grand and comfortable. The amenities is nicer and the pillow quality is excellent.
TV channels also quite good mix no matter you are Chinese or foriegner.

1) Western Food Reataurant ist geschlossen
2) Das Restaurant in Lobby level offeriet nur Indian Food
3) im 3. Stock wurde eine Japanische Bar eröffnet,
4) Korean Restaurant wurde geschlossen
5) Room Cleaning ist nicht gut genug, kein Staubsauger wird benutzt,
6) Club lounge Service ist nicht mehr was es sein sollte, bereits 1830 H kein Snack mehr zur Verfügung, kein auffüllen in sicht
7) Früchte Schale bleibt im Zimmer, nur fehlende Früchte werden nachgefüllt, deshalb war die Ornage "verfault" wenn ich das Zimmer bezog
8) Shampoo wir nicht nachgefüllt oder ersetzt, man muss dies mitbringen (leider)
Ich war während 4 Jahren sehr zufrieden mit diesem Hotel, leider hat sich der Service verschlechtert, wirklich schade, meine Reklamationen wurden leide rnicht ernst genommen, das Managment ist nicht erreichbar, es ist schwierig in einem Hotel glücklich zu sein wenn kleine Sachen sich so verändern dass man sich nicht mehr Wohlfühlt
Ich hoffe dass man diese Zeilen Ernst nimmt und man in Zukunft das Hotel wiede rmit Freude benutzen kann

I picked this hotel initially because of its convenience. Turned out to be a great pick for many other reasons as well. Outstanding services; dedicated executive lounge for visiting guests. There are several department stores around the corner; and there are some local shops if you are looking for Chinese merchandise. There is a row of high quality feeling like home restaurants behind the hotel. These restaurants are expensive by local standards but if you are to impress a business guest it is definitely a good place to eat.

I stayed for two weeks on the Executive floor and made extensive use of the Executive Lounge on the ninth floor. The staff was friendly, efficient, professional, and incredibly helpful. They remembered my name and drink preferences at breakfast and happy hour. I was orginally going to transfer to another Holiday Inn in Hong Kong (just for the weekend when not working in Shenzhen) but became ill and couldn't do the travel to Hong Kong - the staff went above and beyond to cancel my Hong Kong reservations and keep my room in Shenzhen with no cancellation penalties. They also helped with a one-day flight to Ningbo. This was my third stay at the Holiday Inn Donghua, and I plan to stay there again during my next visit in March.

Everything is well prepared before arrival. Check-in just took several minutes. Upgrade is nice and my boy likes the suite very much. We spend a wonderful weekend there.

This is the third time I have stayed here.
The hotel is clean & comfortable, the staff are very friendly if you smile and take the time to talk to them you will have a great stay.
Oscars bar has gone since my last stay which is a bit of shame sitting in the lobby bar is not as relaxing as Oscars was. Although for those of you who have had enough Chinese food the steak menu from Oscars can still be found at the lobby bar.
If you are staying any length of time or have been away for a while the room upgrade is worth it for the laundry and access to the Floor 9 lounge

Overall the hotel was very nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the accommodations were fine.
My only complaint would be that trying to get a taxi in the morning was difficult..It took upwards of 45 minutes on some days.

we had lunch buffet on 10/21. We asked for warm water for two times, whereas we waited long time and the waitress superisor did not take to us. Maybe she was busy, but she could ask others help us. At last, we need to ask other waiter/waitress to bring us the warm water. This happened for 2 times during the lunch. This made us very unhappy. Others is ok.

到酒店有些晚了,因为是白金会员,酒店升级到套房,房间有些旧了,但还干净。早餐品种还可以,就是只住了一晚,升级有些浪费噢。

作为白金卡会员,经常入住Holiday Inn的酒店。如果预订了Deluxe的房间,一般的酒店都会升级到行政楼层。就是这个酒店发明了一个升级为套房,但没有行政楼层的BENIFITS的所谓升级。酒店前台放置了一个推广单张,说只要通过官网预订,都能自动享受行政楼层待遇。我通过官网预订的,入住时说是给我升级为套房,但就取消了行政楼层的BENIFITS。就为这么点BENIFITS斤斤计较,没什么意思。
房间新装修的,装修的味道比上次减少了很多,但门和衣柜的味道还是比较大。

I have had very good experiences with this hotel. It is a large hotel, but after returning after 4 month, they still new me by name (Ok, first time they hesitated a bit).
Comfortable rooms nice lounches and an excellent breakfest.
The employees do whatever they can to create a pleasant stay. For business, there is a special meeting room available, where my guests are handled is if it is there business too.
I agree, it is a bit of their business.
