Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quality of service and general ambience. The hotel is in an area that is under development; however, the interior was pleasant and clean. The front desk employees were extremely helpful and cheerful. The room itself was acceptable, but it could have used another vacuuming. July 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice , clean and helpful staff This was just a quick stopover on a long roadtrip. It served our purposes well. Clean, comfortable, nice pool area, and nice staff. Breakfast buffet was OK, but our waitress was excellent - she went and made us some bacon even though things were shutting down. Great customer service! July 16, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Most disappointing stay in 7 night roadtrip Two well traveled individuals driving from Minneapolis to Seattle with a pet. Disappointed the moment we walked into the entry lobby. Every inch needs an upgrade into this decade. Inexperienced front desk staff; check in and out had to consult off-desk manager for information regarding our stay. Air conditioner in room leaked onto the floor at night and soaked a leather bag full of clothing. We travel light, so was not a good experience. Sheridan is a large enough city on I-90 that it is surprising the lack of cleanliness and updating keeps the doors open. There are MANY other choices, even with a large dog in the mix. Unless you loved the 80's and have low standards, do not even do a drive by. July 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SUPER comfortable bed! The bed was the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. Mattress was the perfect firmness/softness. Linens were crisp, cool, and very white. Pillows were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone traveling in the Sheridan area. July 8, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Guests just a number, too few staff wearing too many hats Called ahead to verify pricing. Quoted higher than internet pricing. When I asked, was told that was incorrect, but that I could pay a lower than quoted but higher than internet if I wanted to skip the breakfast. Given the price differences, I chose to pay the higher cost in order to get the "free" breakfast. After confirming the reservation, I was transferred to a time share call center in a different state - NOT IMPRESSED. Very high cost room with full (not queen) beds. No explanation of any accommodations upon check-in - not the fault of the lone front desk rep with at least 5-6 people waiting to check in. Breakfast was, in my opinion, a scam to get those who paid for "free" breakfast in their room rate to pay again when the bill came at the rastaurant where breakfast was served - again, no explanation offered. I had to tell the waitress that we paid already in the room rate. The one highlight of the stay was Aizel - both our waitress at a 8:30 pm supper and our check out person the next morning at 8:30 am. She was very friendly and understood service with a smile. July 3, 2014
