Rooms were comfortable and clean. Services in lobby when arriving were limited - no hot water for tea, etc. Other hotels other a vary of coffee, tea and a snack.

Eddy was efficient and polite; knows his job well and is an asset to the hotel. Food service is okay -- server was great for room service but it was delayed from the promised arrival time. Breakfast offerings were fine but did not see a server while I and three other tables were seated and dining. Overall a positive experience at this property.

Hotel staff was professional and courteous, rooms were what I expected and the restaurant service was OK. Hotel is priced to high for location and the only rooms available when I arrived were smoking rooms, unacceptable in today's environment. Luckily a fellow guest gave up his non smoking room and took the smoking room. A thank you to him.

Probably one of the most upsetting experiences in all of our stays in motels. While my husband was trying to use the printer(not working) and was away from the room, I took a shower. No big deal, right? Just as I was finishing up, the fire alarm sounded and there I was still in the shower. I quickly tried to dry off and rushed out to the room--no smoke. I reached for the phone, dialed "O" and no one answered. (I think he was out having a smoke!) I tried again and still no answer. The alarm was still going off. Finally, I opened the door, yelled for my husband who was just down the hall near the office. He came running and then when he asked the desk clerk why the alarm had goine off, he was told that it was due to the steam in the bathroom. Never have I ever heard of such a thing and there wasn't more than two inches on the mirror! As ;;you can tell, I am still upset.
The next day, the mgr. on duty did offer us some poiints--not nearly enough to cool me off. We won't stay there--ever again and I will tell others too.
A plus--they did recognize my IHG membershiip when we checked in.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a very comfortable bed. The staff was outstanding and quite helpful. This was our first stay at the Sidney, NE. Holiday Inn but will now be the place we stay whenever in that area.

Easily the worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in or visited. When I arrived the two males (Bartender and desk clert) were standing right in the door way smoking. The parking lot was full of bikers returning from Sturgess Bike week and the hotel was filthy.
There was bell carts in the hallway when I arrived and still there when I checked out the next morning.
The Friday paper was the only paper there and still there on Monday monrning.
The room had a nasty carpet in the accessible room but the fixtures in the bath were less than desirable. The fold in the carpet tripped me each time I went to the bathroom and I go a lot at night.
What breakfast, I said. No cook, no breakfast and this place is on the outskirts of the town. They said the wait staff was there but there would be no breakfast and the desk clerk sent the staff home.
The front desk clerk who had been there all night only wanted to talk about his upcoming tatoo carreer besides watching tv. The trash was overflowing and there was no coffee made! This place makes me want to ask for my money back or at least my points.
Please do one or the other as I am a platinum member and do not like the way I was treated here. Sidney stinks!

Our experience with the Holiday Inn in Sidney, NE was awesome! We had a wedding reception in the Husker room along with seven overnight rooms... All of our people were very pleased with the service we received from check in until check out three day later. The staff bent over backwards to please us and offered assistance when ever we needed anything. There response was amazing! They treated each one with respect and kindness. They were all smiling and happy. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn. Sincerely, Suszi
