Warm greeting received during my arrival. Room was upgraded due to platinum member with a nice friendly smile from the front desk. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness is acceptable. The most important for me is the bed and pillow quality that giving me the good rest throughout my stay.
Keep up the good job and definitely will stay here again.

This is my second time at the Holiday Inn Atrium.
Pros: This hotel is place near the river and in walking distance to fine dinning and drinking. I enjoyed the location and it worked well for me as its is near by Orchard street, Clarke Quay and Chinatown. The staff is very nice and pleasant. I always get a great welcome as a IHG Platinum member. Taxi is mostly available and I don't have a long wait for one.
Cons: The restaurant is a little expensive for breakfast but I don't eat at the hotel normally. The hotel lobby and rooms could use a face lift but still nice enough to stay.
I would stay here again on my next trip.

The Atrium Hotel is very recommendable and this is due to many aspects. The hotel is very welcoming with a very cordial and attentive staff in all areas.
It is very clean. We had a very comfortable and spacious room.
One can find a great variety of freshly cooked food for breakfast.
The pool area is very well kept and very clean too.
the hotel is well served by buses to all areas of the city. It is also of walking distance to Robertson Walk and Clarke Quay both of which are full of bars and restaurants.

Staffs at the buffet restaurant are not friendly and I felt that they discriminate people by something. I asked for window seats and one lady said they are all booked and reserved. Until I finish no one was seating. When I saw few minutes later, some people from outside (not guests staying hotel) were seating. I was always escorted to be seated middle seats where no one wants to seat as many people are walking by all the time. I was never given drinks menu at the dinner time. Food was actually good for breakfast but food at dinner at buffet was not good at all. Some waiter was very kind and nice though. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is obviously dated yet was also well kept and maintained. The bed were firm. The toilet was spotless. Not closed to MRT but there was a small leaflet given by the concierge with nearby bus station and route to tourist spot. Close to downtown and just 6DGS to downtown in normal hours. Good recognition as a IHG gold members with welcome drinks and fruit. Pool was small. Service occ miss and hit e.g. I ask for a late check out but then the room key became malfunction after 12.

Stayed for 9 nights at the hotel. i travel a lot internationally and stay at a lot of hotels - but the staff here were probably the best that Ive ever encountered. A very relaxed feel to the hotel, but you know that someone is there if you need anything. Indeed - the staff often ask that in a non-intrusive way. I have read reviews about the choice of food being limited. This was definitely not my experience. There is plenty of choice here and the quality of the food is excellent too. Room service is excellent and efficient. i appreciated the fruit and water in my room. A couple of very minor 'even better ifs' - to include some de-caff / herbal teas in the room / tea making facility; maybe a choice of pillows (other hotels offer this) - mine were quite firm - and also (but the hotel can't do anything about this) the 'beeping' of the numerous elevators can be irritating before you get used to it. But definitely I would stay at the hotel again.

Check in at this hotel is easy and the staff were freinedly. My room on the 12thfloor offered a great view but this was complimented with a lovely pool-side ambience whenever I went for my swim. Breakfast was great but the Podium Lounge service could be improved. The tea was lukewarm and often they ran out of options like Earl Grey or Darjeeling tea, and had to make do with English Breakfast-not one of my favourites!

I've stayed here many times before as I am in Singapore every other month for business. This stay wasn't up to its normal 'excellence' and if I hadn't had so many other wonderful stays I doubt if I would stay again. First, checking wasn't pleasant as usual. Being recognized as a platinum member was an after thought and it was a phone call up to my room. The room smelled like cat urine and housekeeping was gracious enough to try to get rid of the smell. I did get the executive floor as requested as I was paying top dollar and was not an upgrade. Thank goodness for the young women on the 27 floor running the lounge as they did a great job at breakfast and afternoon refreshments. Internet worked well so it wasn't a total loss and the upgrades with the lifts were progressing well so less wait times was an improvement. Breakfast always has enough healthy choices as I prefer fruits and cereals. Coffee was and continues to be good if you order it strong.

We stayed for only one night and we were given a 3-bed room and the two kids really loved to have a bed of their own. I also very much appreciate that we were charged for only one person for our breakfast and the 2 kids were free of charge. Also worth mentioning, we checked out about 3pm and no charge at all. Though it takes 15-minute walk to the MRT station, but location is great as it is not in the very busy side of the city.

Overall, i will definitely book this place again if i need a short break to relax. My son enjoyed his stay so much that he was upset when we have to leave. Fast check in and checkout. Room is nice and comfy. Staff is helpful and courteous. It will be great if they have more choice of food for muslims eaters. :)

The service was excellent, we were travelling with an infant and were able to check in at 10am and also got a late checkout of 6pm with no extra charge. The staff seemed genuinely happy and were very friendly. The room was large with a superking, bathroom could be updated but it was still comfortable. We would definately stay again.

Pretty good location, an older building but well maintained. Excellent staff and spacious surroundings. Children loved the glass lifts. Good breakfast. The Executive Club menu could do with a revamp though. We were very disappointed with the food on offer.

Just checked in to Atrium in the morning of 14th Mar. the whole process took more than 10 mins. In spite of being a Platinum member, the lounge access was refused (because the booking didn't include that) and had to point out many earlier instances before same was extended to me. After a long & tiring overnight flight, the least one expects is to go through this ordeal. At least the 2nd time this is happening, probably with the same person - presently, staying in a Superior room, though the original booking was Deluxe room. Neither there was an acknowledgement about my membership, nor the usual complimentary drink for premium customers. A diametrically opposite experience as compared to last week!!

The Holiday Inn Atrium needs to focus on the basics when it comes to its food and beverage offer. Breakfast lacks the all-essential human interaction needed to make you feel welcome and properly attended to. I stayed at this hotel for a week and not once did anybody offer to fetch me a drink! Instead, I had to ask, sometimes repeatedly, for a coffee. The trainee making omelettes looked miserable. Nobody said "good morning' or took my room number at the point where usually you are greeted and seated. Most unusual!
The evening buffet consisted of produce that in being kept warm, was in part 'dried out', so the 'Chinese' I was hoping to enjoy was a disappointment, added to which, there was little interaction with staff. I ate out for five nights afterwards.
The key to creating a great hotel environment is a formula based on wonderful service from friendly employees as well as great bedrooms and a superb experience when eating.
Other than this, the hotel looks rather grand. But, looks alone are not the mark of quality and a great guest experience. There's work to be done...

Arrived at hotel with no local cash, went into hotel to exchange US dollar to Singapore dollars to pay taxi cab. Staff took care of cab (paid taxi, took my luggage from the cab) and proceeded to check me in. Took a stressful situation and made it a non-issue. Great customer service!

Really enjoyed my stay. Had booked a night there to celebrate my birthday with my family. Upon checking in at the reception, the friendly staff greeted me with a Happy Birthday which brightens up my day. She was also very kind to offer me a free upgrade to a better room. The view was really nice. There was also a complimentary bottle of red wine and mashmallow with chocolate dip for my birthday. My children were so delighted with the mashmallow. The next day before checking out, my child fell alsleep on the bed so I requested for a late checkout so as to let my child sleep for a while. The lady accepted my request. After my child has woken up, we decided to go down take a walk since there was still some time before the checkout time. But when we came back, we realised we were locked out of our door. I guess the card was automatically deactivated at 12pm? Might be good to set the timing of the door card if there was late checkout. But overall, thank you very much for making my stay and birthday celebration a great one. Will defintely be back soon.

We were greeted by an amazingly friendly member of staff who was genuine in her efforts to make us warmly welcomed. Throughout our stay the staff make it easy for us to find our way around Singapore and tended to our every need. We enjoyed the location of the hotel as it was so convenient to reach many of the tourist spots in Singapore.

I found the room to be very tired ... Maybe the one I was allocated had not been refreshed. The staff seemed very closed off and although made some effort to be engaging it came across as being forced. This is a generalisation only and would not apply to all. I had just stayed at another IHG property so maybe my expectations had been set differently !

I stayed here for a week in February 2014 while on business. As a IHG Gold member I was upgraded by room and offered other benefits (free WiFi etc) The room was clean, tidy and of a good size (one bedroom suite) The executive lounge on 27th floor was worth using for a quiet breakfast. This hotel is probably one of IHG's older properties but has been well maintained and still holds its own with the competition nearby. What makes this hotel great is the staff, from check-in to restaurant & bar to the housekeeping staff, all are excellent and it feels they truly care about your stay and comfort. Location is good, many bars and restaurants across the road along the river and also a S$5 cab ride from Orchard road. Mini bar was a little lacking on choice compared to other Holiday Inn's (minor negative) Great stay, hight recommend.
