Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Stay A good hotel for its age. Everything was fine. The staff was good. The bar had a special on appetizers but could not make several of them as the equipment was broke? July 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good hotel Excellent location to wrigley field, clean, friendly, July 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and serive I was down there for my daughter's basketball and they were awesome from the front counter, to the restaurant the service was excellent the only thing I was unhappy was the cleaning crew one of the staff at 8am on check out day which was noon knock once and then open the door while I was just getting up that to me was not right so for next time put do not disturbed so they don't open the door. The was the only problem but everything else was excellent. Defiantly would go back. July 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional and elegant The entry to this particular Inn is just exceptional. Elegant fountains, patterned walkways all enhance the experience of staying at a beloved Holiday Inn. My husband and I always choose Holiday Inn wherever we go...including the one in London! We know what to expect...exceptional service, cleanliness, comfort and attention to detail. This Chicago location has all of this and more. This is definitely a destination vacation location! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room 4000 This room should be closed. The motor room next to it makes a rumbling sound that will wake up most people many times during the night....... as it did with us. Probably won't be back. Close the room and I hope the other rooms are quieter ... if not close the whole floor. July 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Front Desk David at the front desk was very helpful in finding me another route home. July 10, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible experience My room was given away and I was still charged for the stay. July 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable beds -- service a little lacking The beds and pillows were great and we all slept well. Only real issue we had was in dealing with front desk. We asked for directions to get down into Chicago (which 'L' train to take, where to get off for certain sights, etc.) and the front desk staff knew less about riding the 'L' and the bus system than we did as tourists. I understand we were in the suburbs and not in Chicago proper, but the front desk staff at any hotel within 20 miles of Chicago should be able to tell you what trains to get on, etc., for the main tourist attractions.
