I was also impressed that they had a car wash area available for there guest. They were not even the host hotel but provide much more than the competitive hotel. October 27, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Modern Hotel Hotel was nice, ample parking for my boat. This location does not provide breakfast since it has a restaurant inside, so we had to pay for it. The hotel staff was great however the dining staff was slow, and my drink did not stay full. We almost had to wave them down to get attention. October 6, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by front desk personnel especially the young man I beleive the guest Mgr he helped locate another Holiday Inn in Florida for my November trip. As usual Penny was excellent. your restaurant needs help. took 20 minutes for 2 eggs and toast. toast cold no butter. go back to the breakfast bar. carafts of coffee cold. don't know if it was the preparer or the server but it still took 20 minutes. never ask if I need more coffee. other than that I will be back September 14, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Slidell This hotel is tucked away (in not a good way) off of the interstate. Noise is a little loud. The hotel has nice amenities and the staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the restuarant is great (food wise) but the service is absolutely terrible and slow. Don't expect a quick start to your day. The rooms are of average comfort, but the bathroom is unusually small. The most distinctive thing about this hotel is the smell, they couldn't seem to get rid of it. Considering this location, maybe try another place to stay. September 2, 2014

All of the staff are concerned that my stay here are as comfortable as possible. It is truly "Home away from home". I am always impressed how the staff try's to meet the customers needs, I see this when I am sitting in the lobby reading and I observe other guest as they check in or make inquires about different things. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Value A great stay! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Everyone had a smile and a hello which is the exception and not the rule by today's standards. That in itself impressed me. Location right off I10 and not that far from New Orleans is convenient. Room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner and plumbing both worked properly! Had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and food was very good. Visited the indoor pool and hot tub for some relax time and both were nice. If I was forced to pick a negative I would say that the bathroom was a little small but with all the positives that is just a small negative. Overall a great stay. Highly recommend. August 28, 2014

As I began to panic, Penny at the front desk did her best to reassure me and make me feel comfortable. Behind the scenes, she was pulling the strings and pressing the buttons to make sure I had a room, even though the website said that they were sold out. My hat's off to Penny, who exemplified the meaning of customer service and Southern hospitality! Keep up the great work! August 11, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, filthy bathroom My room was decent but the bathroom was filthy. The toilet and towels were dirty or had hair stuck to them. The shower curtain was so far away that I soaked the floor. The staff was great except when I complained about a drunk attempting to get into my room and everyone else's room. I don't think it was investigated. The parking lot next door is big enough for all sorts of big trucks. My office stays here often and they have not had any or little issues here. July 20, 2014

This property did not disappoint overall. It is safe, clean, great value for the money; very nice and friendly staff, and very comfortable bed and powerful air conditioners (needed in South Louisiana). Only negative was a slight odor of cigarette smoke in the room which I thought was odd for non smoking hotel. Was not bad enough to request a room change, but was noticeable. This was not my first or second time at this hotel, and definitely will not be my last. Great, safe, affordable place to stay when visiting New Orleans. July 16, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bitter/Sweet This experience at the hotel was horrible. The only nice thing about the stay were the comfort of the beds. Briana was excellent as a housekeeper she made us feel welcome and was very helpful. All other times that Briana did not clean our room were horrible!!! Dreadful! If I had a choice to stay again I wouldn't. Housekeeping left dirty towels on the middle of our floor and rarely did what was requested. As a customer service representative in a management position myself, I felt that the accommodations that were offered when I checked out were mediocre, displeasing, and unresolving of the issue.
