From the moment we entered the hotel we were made welcome. The friendliness and helpfulness continued until we left the morning after in a taxi booked by the receptionist.

what a great stay the best personal attention i have ever had. .i was going on holiday and returned a week later and had left my jumper in the room they had collected it in a bag on a hanger and tagged it for me. .Ihave to mention the receptionist Gertie we had a laugh and helped me far beyond the call of duty she started my holiday on a smile many thanks

I was checked into the disabled room after booking a double room for sole use. The toilet flush kept running and you have to play around with it to stop. Then in the morning I complained to reception that there was no hot running water within the shower, the receptionist advised that she would log the fault and maintenance would look at the issue, after returning to the hotel later that evening I asked reception whether they had fixed the fault, to which she checked the records and nothing had been logged i.e. nothing had been actioned. Then the next morning, again there was no running hot water.
When I ordered food at the bar it was delivered promptly and was appetising, but the bill did not reflect what was indicated on the menu as a Service Charge had already been added to the bill, which is not mentioned on the menu.

I will always now use Holiday Inn, The hotel is lovely and the atmosphere is amazing. Staff are helpful and always was greeted with a smile.

We stayed in two rooms as part of our Legoland trip. First you tied up our booking and gave us interconnecting rooms without us asking, you were amazing at check in, booking in with children is never easy but with the minimum of formalities your receptionist gave us our keys so we could get the children settled and then come back to reception ( on my own!) to finish off. Reception was very busy and the party behind were very loud and pushing to get us moving so 10/10 for handling this on the Friday evening.
The star of the weekend was Emmanuel- one of the our children is autistic and he understood the problems we faced bringing my grandson into the restaurant, he found us the quietest corner and just made life so much easier. He recommended the time to come to breakfast and again sorted out a perfect location. Every member of staff was charming and helpful - sorting us out whenever we asked a question - a very positive experience.
Even the children commented on how nice the staff were.
I like being able to ring the hotel we are staying in to confirm all is ok rather than a call centre promising to pass on my request (other large hotel chains take note!)
