I did not get a room upgrade on this visit but feedback from previous visits has been taking into consideration and the necessary changes have been made! July 21, 2015

Good breakfast, lots of choice and clean in spite of people spilling baked beans and tomato sauce all over the place, the staff cleaned it up very quickly. Good views and quiet on the 7th floor. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Above average but a few areas to improve on When we arrived back at the hotel, there was no-one to meet us at Reception. This wasn't a problem as luckily we had checked in already however I wonder how many people could just walk in and out of the hotel unnoticed. The room was great, clean spacious etc but the bed was not so good - it was like sleeping on a water bed and every movement by my partner was felt and vice versa. Sleep quality was therefore not good. The breakfast was really busy and the room quite small for the size of the hotel. They cleared a table for us but it was right next to where people were queuing to make toast so there were people stood right behind you all the time and it was noisy. We were asked if we would like tea or coffee but this never arrived. Breakfast choice was limited and the sausages tasted papery. It sounds bad but it really wasn't - it was a nice hotel overall, they just need a little more attention to detail in a few areas. July 19, 2015
