Just had a great stay - got upgraded room, excellent breakfasts and overall great customer service from RJ/Justin at the desk and Betty in the bar. Must admit I strayed and stayed in Lexington Park for the past few trips - big mistake. Thanks to all!

The shower was freezing cold. Manager gave us a key to take a shower in a guest room across the hall that had warm water. Upon checkout, we did not receive an apology for the cold water and was not offered a discount for the inconvenience.

This is the 3rd time I stayed at this hotel in 2 months. The staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are very clean and spacious. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is the only negative in an otherwise outstanding place to stay.
To be fair, my comments are directed to the free breakfast available to overnight guests. The quality of the breakfast food is sub-standard --- the scrambled eggs are consistently hard, the one hot cereal offered is tasteless, and the selection of hot food is very limited (for ex.,there is no bacon or other meat to go with the eggs, and you cannot get an omelet or pancakes or waffles).
In sharp contrast, I've stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels and their complementary breakfasts are far wider in variety, the food is much more appetizing, and you can get what you want close by your table. There's just no comparison.

Very friendly staff. We really enjoyed the coupons for a free drink and reception in the dinning room. Felt safe and room was comfortable. Look forward to returning in the warmer weather and taking advantage of the outdoor areas.

I have stayed in that area a couple of times before but always at a different hotel. Decided to try a new one. Holiday Inn was SO much better. The price was SO much better. The breakfast was plenty and good. Evening snacks and drinks were enough for a meal, but my son, who lives in the area, and I also had dinner. Excellent!!
Thanks, Holiday Inn, for such a pleasant experience. When I need to stay in Solomons again, you will be my choice. Carole
