Not enough staff to properly enforce noise restrictions. The property should have anticipated the need and had security at each floor posted accordingly. The Tiki Bar opening has only been going on well, forever.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by FLFinPP Just what you'd expect
My stay at this hotel was just what I expect from Holiday Inn. The room was clean, the staff was pleasant and helpful. If you're going to Solomons Island, make sure you check out this hotel.

Stayed there many times over the years, good place, but the bed was a little lumpy. Hadn't been an issue before.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Goalie_50 Quality is declining
I've stayed at this hotel many times over the last 10 years, and I'm seeing a gradual, but consistent decline in the quality of service. Staff does not seem to be as concerned about customer satisfaction, and are less friendly than in the past. Rooms are starting to have more maintenance issues, and they're not being taken care of as quickly as in the past.
The breakfast is a good deal, although they run out of food fairly early. The evening reception is also one of my favorite parts about staying on this property.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jimadmz Short business trip; Great stay!
Our stay at the Holiday Inn Solomon's was for 4 days. It was for a business trip, so several of the 'in-house' amenities were not utilized. It's conveniently located to the local business area, but not too far away from the areas i had to work. I like it because it's quiet, secluded, and the grounds (by the marina) are pleasant and more appealing than staying at a hotel that only has a parking lot.
I like to walk in the afternoons/evenings. It's much nicer to walk in that area than it is walking around the busy Rt 235 roadway.
I also like the fact that it has it's own restaurant and lounge. The dinner menu is adequate, The breakfast has a great selection and the food is good. The bartenders and wait staff are professional and friendly.
