They were friendly, efficient and made sure our check in experience was quick and easy. The breakfast is the best. The table set up and service outstanding. We traveled from Atlanta and stayed at other Holiday Inn's - but the staff in NJ are the best. February 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fine I don't drive in Snow Started a new job in the area and decided to stay Sunday Night vs. commuting from PA in a Snow storm Monday morning. Staff was great and helpful. Enjoyed a Blue Moon at the adjacent Ruby Tuesdays and was able to relax. Made it to work early well worth the cost, and would stay again. February 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice I like this location. The only issue I have here is younger children are roaming the hallways. And it seems that Younger adults are using the hotel as party place. I've witness young adults opening the side doors to give access to their friends. That is a big safety issue. February 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My first time at this location I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the Holiday Inn, as it had been updated about 1 1/2 years ago. I had not been at that location in quite a number of years. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Hats off to both Kiran and Arlene! Both were professional, yet friendly. I found the hotel to be quite orderly, clean, and pleasant smelling. My room was very nice and the bathroom was very clean. My king size bed was extremely comfortable. I also liked that the hotel is connected to a restaurant/bar so I did not have to worry about drinking and driving. The only thing that I found to be negative is the parking lot. It did not seem to be very large, as it was shared by the restaurant and also I could see the "large trucker's trucks". It was not very appealing. But I do understand that this hotel is very convenient to the major highways and can see why the "trucker's" would find this location appealing. I definitely would stay at this location again! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Know before you go...aging rooms, low customer service levels This is an aged property that I am sure has seen better days. I checked in and was sent to my room where the heat had been set to an unbearable 85. While it was a cold and snowy night, this was a bit extreme. When I turned the A/C on and turned down the temperature, the unit shut off. I called down to the front desk and asked for a room with a working A/C and was informed that all A/C's work. When I told him what was going on in my room, the desk agent said that he would send up maintenance. The maintenance guy came up and messed with the unit for 20 minutes and said it was now fixed. While the air was blowing, it was far from fixed...but I was going to give it a chance, when it shut down again. I packed up my stuff and went to the front desk to get a new room or check out and stay at the competitve hotel across the lot. The night manager and desk agent proceeded to tell me that they would get me a new room and apologize. During their search for a new room for me, they told me that they would upgrade me to the Presidential Suite of the hotel. Not bad, right? Well, as one of them got this together the other came over and said something to the effect that another person was paying a higher rate, so lets move them there. They then messed around on the computer again, and said, Sorry, we wont be upgrading you. They sent me to a different room on the far side of the hotel near an elevator that didnt even work...So much for easy in and out of the place. At the end of it all, I got a room, which is all I expect from Holiday Inn. In the morning, I went to the breakfast area and tried the breakfast. Not a bad breakfast, but the woman working the area made eye contact with me and I tried to get an order of coffee, but she worked on cleaning/bussing other tables rather than bring me a cup of coffee. Another person walked in after me and tried to get the same as well. He got so frustrated that he took one of the carafes from a table where the diners had already left for the morning. I proceeded to eat my breakfast and decided I would get coffee elsewhere. Again, I dont expect a whole lot from Holiday Inns, but this was pretty poor. At the end of the day, there are other brands that I will consider in the future when staying in the Piscataway area. The people apologized for the issue with my room the night before, but when you make it clear that I wasnt paying a high enough rate, its a little offputting. And when you cant acknowledge your breakfast guests, why even have a waitress in the dining area? February 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SUPER GREAT OLDER PROPERTY! SUPER GREAT LOCATION!! You would NEVER Know this is an Older Property! Udates and, completely renovated! (the elevators are older but, refurbed) I could NOT be HAPPIER! I had a GREAT STAY @ THIS Holiday Inn! The restaurant is GREAT! Super Food and, EXCELLENT STAFF From the time I made the reservation all the way thru Check out I was treated like a valued customer (oh, wait, I'm Platinum Priority Club) (I AM a Valued Customer LOL) But, that wouldn't matter I watched as OTHERS checked in too and, they Treat EVERYONE like royalty! Great Bed! GREAT PILLOWS! SUPER STAY! I can not even imagine anything that could have made the stay any better! PERFECTION! February 21, 2014

No matter where you go or what type of facility or service it is always better when the person you are dealing with is fairly happy with themselves. And it is easy to tell when it is real and it is fake. Your waitress will make you meal that little bit better. So to when you go into a motel or hotel. I have been going to Holiday Inn for over 45 years. No I don't live in one or spend time every week but I have never had a problem with them. No matter which one or level I have used I have always been satisfied. January 18, 2014
