Front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. Rooms were a little on the small side but furnished well and the bed was very comfortable.
The only possible complaint I could have would have been to the Ruby Tuesday's attached to the hotel. When I went for dinner the hostess never quit texting on her phone even while seating people and the far side of the bar became a hangout for the younger restaurant staff and their friends, which also prevented some patrons from being seated in a timely manner.
Hotel was great though!

Very nice room, clean and quiet. Super nice breakfast and the member of staff in the name of Robert give us an excellent service and tips for future planning to visit New York city.

These are always great value. Location is good as there a numerous options for food and shopping, even if you dont have a car. Breakfast is served, but the menu remains the same. So it good, but always the same.

We had a one night stay at the Holiday Inn South Plainfield - Piscataway. We were attending an event at Rutgers Football Field and this location was very close to the event. Everything went well. Room clean and staff friendly. There were four adults staying in one room, and only 3 towels. I was able to get another towel by finding the housekeeping staff on that floor. She did not have any on her cart, but she did get me one from another room. All in all a good experience.

This hotel has so many positive things, that I cant remember anything that was not good.
Sometimes its the little things that make a difference. There is a second entrance and elevator at the back of this facility.. so if your room is at the end of the hall, you can come and go without having to walk through the whole place.
There is a port for your iphone music or mp3 player in the back of the clock radio/alarm.
There are at least 6 electrical outlets for all your gadgets and electronics in the main room.
The mini fridge and microwave are a real bonus!!
The walls are well insulated, so unless someone is yelling in the hall.. its quiet and peaceful. I didn't hear a single sound from the rooms on either side.
There are an abundance of towels, and one phone call to the front desk will get you more within 10 minutes if you need them.

First, the most important thing that I can say, is that if you treat the staff politely and ASK nicely, this group will go out of their way and move mountains to make you happy.
Upon check in, if you are fortunate enough to have Kiren or Angelica, they will provide top rated service and handle your check in quickly and professionally. This is now my 5th stay here, and they recognize me immediately, Both women remember all of my preferences. It is a blessing to be able to breeze through check in without a single problem and they are probably one of the main reasons I continue to return here even though there are several other hotels in the immediate area.
Housekeeping is quiet and efficient. My room is always clean, and the air conditioner already on, so I don't have to wait for the room to cool down!
Breakfast is a special place when Robert greets you. He radiates happiness and will make sure that your needs are met before you even think to ask! He is an absolute treasure that is often overlooked...
I will continue coming here simply because the staff is wonderful.
As I said in my opening statement... Be NICE, Be Polite, and ASK. They want to provide excellent service, so a little kindness goes a long way if you have special requests. Its a win-win for everyone.
