Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent stay We arrived on Monday 11th August 2014 until Wednesday 13th August and from the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were made welcome and felt totally at home. All staff were lovely, couldn't do enough, food was great and kids ate free, as long as one adult paid for a meal. Rooms were clean and comfortable, we had tickets to peppa pig world included in the price which was brilliant. We would definitely go back and would also recommend the hotel to anyone. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great all round stay Stayed overnight before our cruise and used the stay & park service. Had a great night in Southampton and the next morning picked up by taxi from the hotel and dropped off outside the ship. Got back two weeks later - got off the ship and within five minutes we were picked up by taxi and taken back to the hotel to start our journey home. The taxi both ways was also part of the cruise & stay package. Before we have parked in the cruise parking and stayed in the centre of town quite a few times but if you book early at the Holiday Inn the cost is very competative - we will definatly cruise and stay in the future. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely hotel Stayed for 2 night 6th August. Lovely hotel. Room was on 6th floor overlooking the water. Very comfortable and nice to have chairs to sit on instead of having to sit on bed. Had 2 meals in restaurant which were good. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of different choices of hot or cold buffet. Would definitely stay again. August 17, 2014
