Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Impressed by the 'Make-over'. We last stayed here in January - when building works were in full swing. The result now is impressive. The dining area is light and reasonably uncluttered and the room was terrific. We'll definitely stay again. May 26, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Southampton overnight having stayed at the Southampton Holiday Inn many times over many years, it was pleasing to use the newly refurbished rooms which were excellent. Evening meal in the restaurant was very good. the only issue was insufficient staff covering breakfast which slightly took the shine off an otherwise excellent stay. May 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy and disappointing So this is the first time I've felt the need to complain about a Holiday Inn but here goes. My room was opposite the lift and extremely noisy all night, after a hard day at work i needed and wanted a good nights sleep and i stood no chance, the hotel was busy but this is not excuse as this hotel is one of the more expensive holiday Inns. I complained to reception and was told it was due to the fact they had a conference. I was also assured i would be contacted by customer services, this did not happen. Breakfast was understaffed and had to wait a considerable time for the table to be cleared before people could be seated and i had to ask 4 different waitresses to get a cup of tea with my breakfast. Not the service and hotel you would expect for the price. Very Disappointed. May 22, 2016

Didn't watch TV or use the pool this time, did use the tea-making facilities. We got what we wanted, with a good view and excellent service. Photo shows the view from our 8th floor room. May 21, 2016

The room,staff and food were great and the hotel is perfect for Southampton Docks. From hotel to cabin in less than an hour. I don't think we will bother flying again. We are back in July and know we will enjoy our stay. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good location and easy to find we found the hotel very very good ,location is first rate, the views from our window was very good to see the ships coming in very good nice friendly staff, i think if you could put gluton free initials by the food on the menu it would help for me ,so i would,nt have to keep asking what i can have, and finally the size of the lifts could be better May 14, 2016
