Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and great amenities! A very nice hotel. The rooms seem recently remodeled and everything is well done. We did have a crying child one morning and that was easy to hear so the walls do seem a little thin. However, we never heard an airplane during the entire stay. Internet service was very good too. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unexpectedly Disapointed For Brand Reserved room unavailable at check-in due to "ongoing hotel renovation". Odd that the property was aware their 4th floor was under complete construction when I made my on-line reservation, moved to a lower floor and given a room on 3rd floor which was also being renovated. Each afternoon, property neglected to clean the the hallway, elevators; property resembled a construction site; had to wait for, or ride elevator with contractors, materials, trash carts, etc.; During my 3-day stay, I worked at an installation site only to come back to the hotel to experience construction work on my floor, etc.; My room appeared to be recently renovated but had no base boards, just patched walls along the carpet. Experienced hotel restaurant for dinner first evening, good service but meal was strictly mediocre at best... was told a new cook had just started; Last evening attempted to order room service but no menu (not even a hotel binder) could be found in the room, called room service and was told I could walk downstairs and get a menu myself, and order (no offer to run a menu up to my room), completely dismayed, I skipped dinner all together. Biggest disenchantment with this property was while returning to the hotel my last night, I passed the hotel manager on duty while walking through the front door...never acknowledged me as a guest (potential or checked-in), he was plugged in with ear buds and was more interested in lighting up for a smoke break in front of the hotel's main entrance. With all the property issues encountered during my stay that negatively impact a guest, it's fairly clear how it was occurring, it's not a staff issue, it's a lack of professional management. The front desk staff gets it, I was offered a discount on my stay and points which I appreciated. Nevertheless, the property offers an opportunity for a new manager to turn around the property. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sampling Project The hotel is located near the airport and I-90 so it has great access in and out of Spokane. Rested well and felt refreshed in the morning after a deep sleep - and I do not sleep well in hotels on the first night! Staff were all professionals from the front desk to the restaurant. Would recommend this facility to anyone, and I would stay here if work or play finds me here in the future. November 21, 2014

The AC was a bit noisy and restarted every 15-20 minutes. The staff was helpful and showed a very friendly attitude. November 19, 2014
