Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service After being on the road for 12 consecutive hours, two time zones later, I was able to check in early, eat in the dining room that was getting ready to close. The staff went above and beyond what they were required to do. I highly recommend this hotel. Special shout out to the staff. December 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Stay - Great friendly staff Recently stayed at the HI in Spokane (our second time in 3 months) and it was wonderful. We were upgraded to the newly remodeled fourth floor and it was lovely. The room was clean and bright. Bed was so comfortable and bathroom great size. HI in Spokane is my go to hotel. Closed to airport and great friendly staff at check-in and check-out. Also, thanks to the cleaning staff who helped me turn on my heater-she was great. Hope they get the heating/AC unit to be a little more quite (being new units - really loud when on). But had a great stay. See you next time. December 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stepping up to the plate Overall had a good stay, convenient, comfortable and good service. What impressed me the most was the morning I was supposed to take an early flight, ultimately got stuck in security and missed my flight. Got the shuttle back to the hotel. Still had my room but decided to eat breakfast before I went back up. The server had not shown up that morning and the night auditor Vanessa and a cook, Solomon, I believe were shuffling around taking orders and serving people. Even though it took a good while I saw both of them really step up to help get everyone their meals. Vanessa had never taken orders and I could tell she was struggling to enter into computer but she was very apologetic and energetic. Solomon was helping bring food out and drinks. I was impressed the way they stepped up and even though I wasn't happy to miss my flight, it made me feel good to see people try really hard and make things happen. I almost never right a review but thought they deserved some praise. December 16, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Newly renovated 4th floor have stayed here a couple of times mainly because of the Airport Shuttle Service and the long term parking. The first couple of stays, the rooms were run down and not very clean. The common areas are not looked after very well. The elevator carpet looks like it has not seen a vacuum in quite a while. However the last stay I had a room on the newly renovated 4th floor and being all new it was a major improvement. The staff here are very nice and helpful. The restaurant is OK for a quick bite but not really a Dining Destination. December 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor decidion making During my stay, somebody authorized construction to be done in the room above me. My family and I didn't really get any sleep. I advised the hotel and they said that they were unaware of this construction until I brought it up the next morning. They comp'd my rooms, but I believe that they should have given me free nights of stay for the future. I doubt that I will stay at this location again. The staff were kind and did the right thing, but somebody made a very poor decision about having construction during the night "anywhere" in a hotel, let alone above my room. December 10, 2014
