I love staying at the Holiday Inn Spokane Airport (Park and Fly option). This time, someone even anticipated my return date, cleaning off snow and shoveling me a pathway to the driver's side and to the trunk of my car. I really appreciate the room cleanliness and the excellent service I always get here. The food and service in the dining room is also excellent.

Enjoyed my stay, thanks to the very clean and comfortable rooms. Stayed two different times between trips recently. The shuttle service is outstanding, even took me downtown to bus station for trip home. Staff is exceptional and go the extra mile for their customers. Would highly recommend and will stay again.

Unfamiliar with the Spokane area, I had contemplated about ventureing out of the hotel. I had mentioned my concerns to the staff. Next thing I know there are directions to the places that I wanted to go:).

I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Express at the airport, however I was extremely disappointed at the service for breakfast. I took my two grandchildren down at 9:00 AM, had to wait about 9 minutes before anyone acknowledged us standing there. We were seated, handed menus, waited and waited and noticed a family of four come in, be seated and still we waited. I then noticed the family of four being waited on, so we got mad and left. I complained to the desk and they reimbursed me $30.00.

I stay at this hotel about 15 nights per year for work. The hotel is very well maintained. The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds are comfortable. I've generally been pretty happy with my stay.
I did, however, run into a couple of issues the last time I visited...
First, The HVAC system was making some loud ticking noises when I came back to the room one day. They came up and checked and agreed that it was too loud and they opened the door to a room down the hall so I could move over there. That's fine but what I found a bit annoying is that they were a bit surly about the whole process. No apologies offered and no help getting all of my stuff moved over to the new room. What's more is that the new room was a downgrade from the room I was staying in. It wouldn't have taken much to have made me feel better about that whole experience but they didn't go beyond the bare minimum.
The second issue arose when I decided to go down to the bar to use my free drink coupon. I presented the coupon and ordered a CC and coke and the bartender went ahead and started making it. About halfway through another bartender came over and said that the coupon would cover some of the cost of the drink but not all of it because it was supposed to be "well drinks" only. OK.... Fine. I asked them to mix me one with the lousy stuff they keep below the counter instead (using nicer words, of course). They seemed super annoyed at this request and proceeded to carefully measure out the liquor (not a drop more than necessary!) and pour the drink. Seriously? Why does this have to be such a big deal? I spend over $1500 there every year. Lighten up a bit. And I'm a customer for Pete's sake. Stop treating me like I am an annoyance to you.
So all in all not a bad hotel but the customer service is lacking. I might look elsewhere next time.

Very nice place and excellent value for room. Good internet access.
ONly wish the bar was open all afternoon on a Saturday as I could not use my drink coupon then. It was closed from 2 to 5.

We did not have room service for two days, nor did we have clean towels. The trash was not picked up either day. i had to walk down to the laundry and request service. The ehad housekepeer said it was because we had the pet sign on the door, but I can assure you that we were out of the room by 9am and visiting with my son at his home.
Upon departure on Monday morning my wife asked if they could give us directions for any hotels in the San Francisco area and she was tyol" YOU can look it up online", while the desk clerk was sitting having a personal conversation with another maler employee. Why did't she say, just a minute and i will look that up for you. Training in customer service needs to be addressed at this propwerty in particular. we had wonderful experiences at all aother properties during our vacatio.

Everything about this hotel is great!! The staff is friendly and willing to help out. Food is great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitely will be staying here every time I visit Spokane!!
